I bought this product after bleaching and staining the tips of my hair a mermaid blue color. This was my first time ever coloring my hair. I have used the garnier fructis line for a long time now and figured I would try this product. I have washed my hair every 2-3 days with cool or warm water for the couple weeks that my hair has been died so far. The color is still very vibrant and is barley fading. My hair is also softer than it has ever been. The products also seem to be doing wonders with taming my frizzy, thick, curly hair. I will always use these products when I color my hair!
I colour my hair all the time so I need a colour protecting shampoo. Having said that I don't know if it really protects colour, but I like the shampoo with the conditioner.
Two years ago, my hair was auburn black and now this year my hair is burgundy, I love this one and it's works.
I like the way the bottles are easy to use on both the shampoo and conditioner [I had been so sick of having difficult-to-use conditioner bottles]. I like the product, it's my new "only-one-I'll-buy" for both the shampoo and conditioner. Bonus that it's for color-treated hair, I've been coloring mine for most of the last 30 years.
The new formula caused an allergic reaction for me. Why did you change it? The old formula was one of very few shampoos that did not cause a terrible reaction for me.
I came to this website to look for a new shampoo. I liked the ingredient list for this (green bottle). I bought a bottle of it today (also green bottle) and the ingredient list on my bottle is completely different from the ingredients listed on this website.
I am a hair dresser of 20 years. During this pandemic I was not able to order from my distributor and for the first time in two decades I bought a box dye. This color gave me 'hot roots' and did not cover my gray at all in some places, even though I bought a shade darker than what I needed to to avoid these issues. I am giving it 2 stars because I can tell that the formulation is good and would work great on natural non gray hair. I feel like the label of '100% gray coverage' is very misleading indeed.
I've been trying multiple products to see what will be best for my red hair. This shampoo and conditioner turned my red hair to pink after the first wash with it.
I spent $100 to achieve dark purple hair. After using this product once, I noticed my shower turned purple. I dry my hair and noticed it is now a very light pinkish lavender. I'm very upset and wasted my money.
New formula made my scalp itch and my hair in bad condition. I used old red bottle shampoo for years and it was great. Can't use new at all. The smell is also not good at all makes. My eyes burn without even getting shampoo in it.
