Its Garth Brooks, who in there right mind doesn't like him. The price was reasonable which helped in the decision of to buy or not
Whisky to wine is the best track but the whole CD is great! Classic Garth!!
A real disappointment. With that said, i am one of the biggest Garth fans you could ever find. I think he's typically the very definition of music. His earlier work such as That Summer, The Beaches Of Cheyenne, Rodeo, The Change, The River, The Red Strokes, etc. are all timeless masterpieces of music history. With that said, I felt this newest release left a lot to be desired. I was not the biggest fan of Man Against Machine, but I believe Gunslinger is actually a step back from that. Nothing very memorable on the album, and some of the songs sound rushed or just no true emotion as with the work from years past. Granted, the tracks Ask Me How I Know, and Baby Let's Lay Down and Dance are both worthwhile and are a great listen, but I feel these two songs have to try to carry the entire album. Nothing will be remembered by Gunslinger, just a highly anticipated but very disappointing Garth CD.
