[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop about 6 months I go and it is work excellent I love the huge green I love the red color I love how the keys are and how big the mousepad is and how it's not centered into the laptop but offset little although just yesterday I close my screen and plugged it in to charge and this morning when I opened it the green power light is on and my green charging light was on but as I went to go turn it on nothing would happen screen wouldn't come home or none of the other lights without room can you help me please I really do love my laptop and I would love to just have it come on and not have to worry about buying another one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I was able to customize the color, and get the laptop in purple! The light weight makes it easy to carry to class, and easy to store at home. The fingerprint scanner is an added bonus that makes signing in and out easier than ever while still keeping my account secure. I just love everything about it.
It's a very good product for the money. The only problem that I had with it is that it wouldn't run Zoom using the Windows S operating system. In order to run it, I had to exit the S, and run regular Windows 10, which fortunately was not hard to do. Only has a 128 SSD, (solid state hard drive) which does limit what you can store. But all that said, it works great!
This DOES NOT have a fingerprint scanner as described. I was really excited to have it since my old computer had one and found it to be such a convience. There is a disclaimer (in fine print) stating what is offered might be different than the product you get but you don't know until you have already purchased it. Thats Crap! Since I just got it, I'll update the list of other things that was advertised and not included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop in February. Within a month, the screen started slightly pulling away from the case. Now it completely falls out. There is no sign of adhesive or clips to hold it in place. Other than that, it's been great!
This purchase was for a light-use computer. I believed gateway was a good brand. However, after only seven months of use, it died. One evening, one of the alphabet keys did not respond. The next morning, it would not even power up. No matter what we did, the computer would not boot up. We took it to our local computer repairman, whom we have known for 10 years and who can fix anything. But this computer could not be repaired, it was permanently dead. After only seven months of use.
its crashing a few times daily. i need it replaced but only had 30 days. this needs attention.
Price and size decent specs. But it just went blank one day and that was the end of it. Had no luck with gateway warranty. I will not buy another gateway product. We had 2 gateway computers and both did same thing.
