Two negatives: the machine comes with a separate plastic part for you to shred credit cards in, but no where in the description does it say that you need to store it elsewhere until you shred credit cards, putting it in the machine each time. I tried leaving it in its place and just putting the plastic shredding bag over it, but it is in the way when the machine says it is full and you open it to push the shredded paper down to make more room. Also, the instructions show that you can store this on the machine. I couldn't find any such place. I ended up just putting it on the floor, inside the machine. Second negative is that when it jams, it is difficult to un-jam. I had to keep playing with it, turning it off and on, pressing the forward and reverse buttons, before I could get it to move, little by little.
We brought this shredder in August 2014, and it lasted a week. I have sent e mails and letters trying to see about getting it fixed and no response. After having it one week, apeice broke off and it is not useable.
