I honestly think perhaps the previous reviewer had hair that was too Straight for the product. Not everything is for everyone, to be sure. This particular product is super specific to soft, brushed out, COILY hair. If your hair doesn't have the right amount of nap, I could definitely see these combs NOT working for you. However, if you are Blessed with a crown of thick, curly , coily Hairrrrrr, you can ROCK this set. Well worth the money spent to create such a cute and unique look! Give us more of this content, Coilz and Curlz Ladies O:-)
