Just installed it today (6/26/23). It was up and running at selected temperature within a couple of hours. Love the features such as exterior controls, door alarm and over temperature alarm. I especially love the turbo freeze feature. Great large shelves and a nice large basket. Door bins are a little shallow but usable. For us it's the perfect size freezer with great features.
We bought this upright freezer, a month ago, as an addition to our regular refrigerator/freezer. We bulk cook soups, various beans, & other types of meals. We soon would run out of room in our regular freezer! We love this freezer. It's upright design makes for easy access, it's frost free, freezes quickly, has lots of storage with 4 roomy shelves & a deep basket in the main compartment, & 3 good sized bins on the inside door. We highly recommend this freezer!
This product is a great design and feels very well made. We appreciate the extra foot of cubic space. Simple to use. Well thought out. We are very pleased.
For this year's Vegas Heat we decided it is about time to order up a new freezer. Our old GE Freezer one was 35 years old, and although it was still working, time had taken its toll, now that we are empty nesters it was time. It fit perfectly and cooled right down. We did let the freezer get to our predetermined temperature of 0 degrees F. This took about 3 hours, not mad since it is keep outside and it was over 100 degrees. The lock on the door is a plus with all the grandchildren.
We needed a new garage freezer after our old one was deemed unfixable. We shopped a dozen different makes, models, and sizes before choosing our G.E. Upright freezer. We are extremely happy with our selection. The internal layout is perfect for storing large amounts of frozen foods, it is quiet, and the shelves are laid out perfectly. I am amazed by the amount of storage space in this particular model. Lastly, the price is comparable to other brands of the same size. Great buy!
Perfect size if you don't quite need a full freezer. Easy to reach anything that is stored in it. Nice design, quiet running. There is no wasted space and it really holds a lot for its size. I absolutely love it!
Our 10-year-old, extremely reliable GE Freezer was working perfectly until it was damaged when our garage was flooded two weeks ago. Naturally, we purchased another GE Freezer and immediately were pleased and impressed with its modern, clean and sleek lines, the digital settings on the outside of the door and its compact size that fits perfectly in our limited garage space.
The size of the freezer works good for us.We have a small chest freezer also but it's hard to find food sometimes, Hopefully this one will last as long
So far so good. Setup is easy and its cooling as expected. Big fan of the metal shelves vs the plastic ones. Would like to see it come with a shield cover for the compressor area.
