I got this for my bedroom which is actually a little bigger than 10x15 and within minutes the room cooled off and under an hour it was perfect! Got it for a steal too and best of all it is LIGHT! At 30lbs it weighed less than my groceries. The remote is also a PLUS especially since it's in the bedroom.
We were in the market for new air conditioners but they were all too expensive, ugly, or namebrands I've never heard of. These are a name we know and a price that was within budget. Installed them and left the house for 2 hours and came back the entire house was cool. I do have another one in our livingroom but it was stupid expensive and all it's really doing it circulating the air that these 2 are putting out.
This unit cools quickly and saved us in a pinch. Our central ac unit bit the dust and this window unit kept our bedroom cool in 100° weather.
Easy install. Was in and using within 8-10 mins. It's super quiet and puts out cold cold air!!!!! Loving it so far. Now time to register it!!! I would recommend it to anyone trying to cook a small room or tiny home.
I bought this Room Air Conditioner, Model: AHP05LZQ3 - 5,100 BTU. It was an easy window installation and no issues cooling down my tiny bedroom at this time. They only thing about this A/C unit is a little bit louder compared to the other A/C which is a Midea that has a 12,000 BTU unit that I installed in my living room.
This unit works well and is a great size for the power of the unit. Install was pretty easy. I liked the smart settings features. The manual talks about putting foam panels over the curtain but these were not in the box. I did find some online to install. So my only negative is that the manual needs to be updated or the item should be included as stated in the manual.
Cools my studio apartment great for the Midwest summer heat, I wish the side panels had a further extension.
Poor cooling even though our bed room is small. BTU should be more than sufficient for our space but I very often find the room still not cold enought even if we run at max cooling.
Lasted 1 year, now not blowing cold are. The drain hole is cover/closed for efficiency, filter is clear, radiator is clean. Even if it had warranty I don't think it would help because they would want me to box it up and ship it for a very high price. Worked well the 1st 2 years but now it's not blowing cold air. 5000 BTU window ac. Minnesota
I purchased this ac and installed it in my window. Big mistake as I should've tested it before installing as it doesn't blow cold air. It sat in my house for a month before I got to install so tue big box store i bought it at wouldn't take a return. So overall bad experience with this unit and wouldn't purchase again.
