I was so confused with the information on the box about the size of the microwave they put the size of the box instead of putting the size of the microwave
It is excellent Microwave.This is our 2nd time buying this GE microwave. It has multiple function. It does good job with baking, and warming food. It is easy to use it.
Attractive microwave that warms food evenly. The other features such as defrost are also helpful as well.
We bought one of these microwaves 6 years ago and wore it out. Loved it so much we just bought a duplicate and it was just installed. We noticed a few minor improvements that make it even better.
The stove is a great product with many different features to use for cooking. You do not have to burn your food anymore with the awesome timer on the front.
The quality is much less than that of the old microwave when it was working: 1) the number buttons on the control panel that is on the front of the oven, are very hard; they have to press hard to get the oven to start working. The buttons on the old oven were of a soft touch and easy to use 2) there is no AM/PM button for the clock 3) by the third use, the rotation ring on which the glass rotation plate sits, became twisted and bent out of shape and is no longer usable.
This microwave oven was already in our brand new house when we bought the house in 2019. Since then, the handle has broken twice and we've had to order replacement parts for it. Now it is not warming up the food. The microwave oven has been very problematic.
The 3rd digit in the panel started blinking and the beep stated to sound weird. Now the panel is fritzing even worse and the noise has stopped. Sure it will fail real soon. Time to weigh out repairing vs buying a quality one that will last.
At about a year and a half this microwave started to blink and Fritz on the digits on the panel and the beep started to sound weird. A few months later it's gotten worse and the beeping is basically stopped. I guess it's time to weigh out repairing versus buying a newer quality product.
The over the range microwave was installed by the builder and same as many reviews, the digital display numbers blink throughout the day for both the clock and cook time. The blinking looks like a fuse shortage. The home was vacant for majority of the life of the microwave unit and used sparingly for the other half. Model#: (JVM3162/JNM3163)
