Product has lot of options and easy to operate. No noise and heating the item evenly
I bought this microwave about 7 weeks ago to replace another GE microwave that lasted for 9 trouble-free years before it suddenly died. This microwave is very similar to the one I previously owned, except that it's a little larger in the interior and seems to be a little bit more powerful. It's also very nice looking and matches my other stainless steel appliances.
It functions great and having a new microwave is great. The microwave we replaced was a GE and that's part of the reason we replaced it with a new GE.
Love our GE microwave hands down one of the best..
Just got it, but it looks so easy to use. I use the microwave on a regular basis and it was important to me that it'd be easy to use and it appears to have lived up to what I hoped. So far so good!
This purchase was well overdue, this GE was a perfect fit for my needs. Easy to use, not complicated with the necessary features. I like the "steam clean" feature most! Only thing I have an issue with, if you put an item in to cook & don't start the microwave right away...it will signal you to "insert food", so I have to open the door again & close it to start cooking.
Until recently this micowave has been fairly decent. Has always seemed to heat things on the low side but has been trouble free. But as of this morning there seems to be something that has come loose inside the door. I don't know what this item is as nothing like this is shown on GE website on the door parts diagram.
In less than 30 days the key pad stopped working. Right now I am working with local retailer to fix my microwave. If not, I hope GE will step in and make this right
Key pad stopped working the first week. Only the 30 second key works. I'm working with the retailer. They have a keypad on order. I decided on GE because it was a reliable product in many different appliances. Not so sure now.
A little over 4 years old and it's dead. Magnatron crapped out. Cheaper to replace than repair. Very disappointed. Will stay away from GE in the future.
