Previously I had a gas cooktop but decided to go electric when I replaced the old one. I am relearning how to use electric but so far it is working great. The glass surface is easy to clean which is good as even when not cooking on it I have to daily wipe little footprints off of it, as two of the cats will not stay off the counters. It works well and looks fabulous.
I absolutely LOVE this WHITE cooktop! Prior to purchasing many people stated that the surface was horrible to clean and that after every cooking episode it discolored. Well it does and so does a black cooktop surface you just can't see it on the black, but it is most certainly there! I like the fact that I can see the easily removable stains after cooking and I can keep my cooktop sparkly white and clean...something that I didn't do with my black glass top because I couldn't see how yucky it really was. Yes, you do need to clean it after every use, but I don't mind doing that, one bit. I LOVE this cooktop so much! The quick boil is awesome!
Cooktop is perfect for our lifestyle. It puts out excellent heat for different types of cooking & has easy to clean surface. The look is modern that I like a lot.
We love our new cooktop. Easy to clean with just vinegar and water and features like a light that tells you the cooktop is still hot after it is turned off makes it great for safety!
Works as promised. We found the transition from gas to electric to be relatively easy. And we love how easy it is to clean.

I was rather disappointed with this stove. The burners are very small. Even the larger burners are small. You can't get a very large frying pan completely on it. You have to keep moving the food around. I will replace it as soon as I can with a better one.
Much slower cooking than my previous electric cooktop of 30 years! Even “power boil” is slower. Pots & pans slide around while cooking. Must hold pot to stir food. Pots vibrate while heating up on cooking surface. This stovetop needs constant cleaning. Very high maintenance. I would not buy this again.
Looks great, used it 1 time and it scratched😡😡😡😡 I can only imagine what this is going to look like in 6 months. If I could return it I sure would.
I can't begin to tell you how much I HATE this cooktop. Ive used only GE appliances for 40 years, but this one really disappoints. The black shiney surface is literally impossible to clean, even with the recommended product. The stainless strip in front is already scratched in one month, using only smooth recommended cookware. Buffing daily with paper towel after cleaning and it is still a smeary mess. I feel like crying when I walk by it, knowing what I spent, and I'll have to keep it the rest if my life.
