The installation and conversion to LP was easy, and the cooktop performs much better than our old gas stove top. Cleanup is very easy. The small burner is great for melting chocolate and keeping soup warm without boiling. The large burner brings water to a boil in half the time of our old stove. Overall, I would recommend this cooktop for anyone who cooks a lot.
Great stove, works really well and I am able to cook quickly. Also easy to clean.
Installation was easy. Luckly for me this GE replacement cooktop measurements were exactly the same as the granite cutout for the original Dacor cooktop. Once I had the cooktop in, I contacted a licensed plumber to connect the propane. The only hiccup to the install was a missing orifice for the center burner. I contacted GE and they are sending me an orifice, which can be easily installed with a rachet and socket. The new cooktop functions great and looks great. Really modernizes the look of the kitchen.

The original gas cooktop we had was 60 years old. It was a 4 burner, pilot lighted cooktop that had finally only one burner working correctly. So the new GE 5 burner gas cooktop was like eating a neanderthal new car......there just is no comparison. We love this cooktop !!! I am sooooo happy with this model. Words can not describe our joy !!! I would recommend GE gas cooktop to anyone. Our kitchen is small, yet this 5 burner model fit excellently.
This is such a gorgeous stove top! I love cooking meals, needless to say the kitchen is my happy place! Not only that but it's so easy to clean up any and all messes I simply take the burners off of the stove top to clean the stainless steel beneath, this is an amazing appliance!
The ge stove top is beautiful I love it. It is well made and we are looking forward to cooking on it.
Needed a new cooktop my old one was 22 years old and two of the eyes no longer function. Went online looking for a new one came across a GE my uncle worked for GE years and years ago I knew GE makes an exceptional product. GE one of the companies who had white and five eyes. Very pleased with the aesthetics of the cooktop. Have not had it long enough to tell you how well it functions.
This cooktop looks great but we've found that any spills/spots are immediately visible on the stainless steel so has to be cleaned after each use. The stainless steel is very sensitive and scratches very easily even from accidentally touching it with my fingernails when swiping it with a cleaning cloth. The burners and grid spot easily and I haven't found a way to clean them well yet. The knobs are plastic and feel cheap and wobbly. Would probably consider using in a rental/vacation property as it looks pretty high end, but not if upgrading a primary residence kitchen where it would be used a lot. Likely replacing this in our home with something better
