This is not the first front loading washer that I have owned. The updates that have been added are wonderful and certainly a selling point for me. The new vent system is long over due. The odor that is characteristic of a front loader should be much improved.
So far great. I didn't realize it actually has 4 spin speeds. I haven't tried the highest:Max yet. I felt the towels & jeans still dried quicker.. Some ratings stated the machine is not quiet. Any front loader on a metal base is going to be slightly louder. This is not annoying. Just did 3 loads so far & happy. I use laundry pods & the large ones maybe too much soap. Make sure they go in drum with clothes, not soap dispenser. This model does not have smart- dispenser . I have had Samsung & Whirlpool in past. GE seems better.
Attractive appearance and easy to understand functions. Love the “no stink” features and hygienic clean cycle. Not sure I'll use the wi-fi function to remotely start the washer but it's nice that the software can be updated. Hoping it lasts 10+ years
I purchased this washer because the one that came with our house was a different brand and poorly designed. When I googled washers that are easiest to clean, this model popped up multiple times. Some important features that made this an easy decision to purchase include, the venting system to decrease mold growth within the washer, and the easy access water drain trap door that is located in the front. We have dogs that she's and I have to clean this out often. I couldn't do that with my old washer. So far, the venting system works well and I like that it reminds you to turn it on after a load. The setting are easy to use and adjust with each load and I'm super happy we went with GE.
Very nice machine that does a great job of cleaning. Love the afresh system, hoping it does what it says in keeping mildew and mold away. I wish I would of looked closer to my order because I really wanted the auto soap dispenser feature but realized after it was delivered I ordered the one without.
I couldn't be happier with my new washer and the WIFI and App make it more convenient to remember that I have wash going. Sometimes I can get sidetracked and wash will sit but the app notifications keep me on top of the laundry and on top of my day. It's easy to navigate and use. I highly recommend it
I LOVE my washer. It is the absolute best washing machine. Clothes are clean and almost dry when cycle is done. There are many options to choose from( soil level, water temp, amount of spin). Lots of cool features( wifi/bluetooth enabled and stackable). I actually bought this machine by accident. Im glad I did.
Well, what is there to say, It runs great. GE Front Loader Washer with Ultra-Fresh Vent System with Odor Block, who needs WiFi LOL. Just know the controls are very sensitive. Options for adding water is a good thing. Adding your detergent & etc are not clearly mark ON the dispenser its self, question is Why not? Some one will make a mistake on the wrong located when adding bleach because its not clearly mark; You have 4-compartments to deal with, I had to look in the manual LOL! GE & others are set on a platform when trying to look for the words/locations for softeners & such, that is my thing, I find that it needs better-clear-wording on the dispenser. Great option, it has access in the front to clean a debris/lint filter in the front toward the bottom of the washer. My last Front Loader was a SAMSUNG; it was 15yrs old. Never had the issues like so many other people with performance or odder, its knowing how to use a Front Loading Washer Machine in the first place. No matter what Machine you own, over loading it will affect its life-span. The options on my NEW GE our great, haven't had the chance yet to use these options since its only me now. I got it while it was on sale or I wouldn't be able to buy it. .I never give a product 5-Stars from the start. They start with 4-Stars and time will tell, when I give 5-stars its in the end game. I did my research and found that GE had a good right up on performance & quality. And time will tell. Its a Fresh Start with GE.
Would give this washer a 5 star except for the loud clunking it makes during first cycle. Not sure if supposed to or something is wrong. Installed in a house we only use on some weekends so it's not being used consistently. Sounds like a loud bang throughout the house.
Just installed it.. was very easy to follow instructions and get set up… so far so good can't see inside when it's washing but it looks very clean and sleek! Love that the WIFI will notify when the load is almost done.. no more forgotten laundry 😊
