We have really enjoyed this range! It's a bit tricky keeping it streak free so finding a good non toxic stainless steel cleaner is on my list. It is very sleek and the burners are easy to wipe down after cooking. The oven and stove heat up very quickly and the cooking time and temperature are very accurate.
I just had my GE electric oven installed today (model JS645SL9SS). Before purchasing the range, I did some research and found that this model and other GE models received high ratings by consumers. The stainless steel range is very attractive, and I love the features. I also love the large size of the oven. Additionally, I was pleased that the instuction manual provides very clear instructions and safeguard tips.
This stove top/oven heats up quickly and evenly. The oven retains heat for quite a while. It is well insulated. The technology put into the glass stove top and control panel for the unit is over the top.
Perfect working order. Beautiful streamlined appearance. Rapid element heating. Bottom drawer accommodates items for storage comparable to other ranges.
So far, so good. Pre-heating the oven has been great. It takes no time to pre-heat the oven and is far superior to our previous oven. Still getting use to the stove top heating temperatures but starting to understand the heating capabilities and adjusting as necessary. Overall, a very good purchase for us.
Just what I needed. I don't need a bunch of extra options. Just a simple solid oven/range that performs well. Heats up faster than expected. Just installed it, so far so good.
Looks very nice and heats up fast. Easy to figure out the dual burners. The number pad will make very useful when setting the temperature and the time.
The product is clean, sleek and works very very well. We are adjusting to how fast the stove cooks .. which isn't a bad thing. The only thing that would make me give this product of five is that I feel the side gap pieces should come with the stove.
It is a nice stove,BUT I don't like the bubbles appearing underneath burners. I am very careful to not scratch top with pans. These aren't scratches-they look like bubbles!
This isn't the product that I ordered. It was substituted. I ordered a range with the knobs on top so a child could not reach them. The one that was substituted has them on the front. They are easy to bump and turn and they are easy for a child to reach. The stove and oven themselves work well though.
