I like that I'm able to place furniture closer to the wall, with just using the side outlits. I'm happy with the purchase!
I went to both Lowes and Home Depot and all of them did not have a center screw to hold the plug in the wall. The second addvantage is the angled faces so the plugs are not crowding.
This is what everyone needs! Buying more
I've used this throughout my house behind furniture. It allows plugs to come in sideways so that beds and tables can sit flush with the wall. Brilliant!
I like having 6 outlets in one place. I also like the 4 outlets on the side so the plug doesn't stick out too far.
The standard six-in-two receptacle typically allows only four plugs to be inserted because the outlets are too close together. This six-in-two has the outlets spread further apart, allowing all six outlets to be used, even with all being chargers or adapters.
I like them but then found some in the store with a breaker reset button for $1.00 more. I could not find out online if they had any in the store before I ordered or I would have paid the $1.00 more and gotten the others. But they are nice in my kitchen and bedroom.
Nice solid adapter that screws down tight as you would expect from GE. Nevertheless, it doesn't "plug - in" with 2 sets of spades like I expected! Just one 'line-neutral-ground' & a plastic spike in the back. I guess all that wattage will conduct through just one side of the plug in the wall?
The adaapter does not plug into both wall outlets. To me, this wall adapter is totally useless and a waste of my money. In my application, the top wall outlet is always "hot" and the bottom wall outlet is intermitently "hot" or off. Thi adapter, depending on how I plug it into the wall outlet, would either always be "hot" or act intermitent with a switch. jerkozy
I planned on using this outlet on a switched wall outlet. It came thru with only one set of plug prongs and no way to disconnect the top from the bottom outlets. Previous models had two sets of prongs and thus I was able to seperate/break the connection between them if needed.
