We ordered the washer/dryer set and there was something wrong with the dryer. After getting it replaced due to a defect, we love the dryer! Different settings for different loads and no restarting to continue drying as it has sensing mode that does it if necessary. Also very quiet.
We just received the dryer a few weeks ago, but so far I'm very happy with it. It's very stylish, and has many drying selections which are easy to understand. I especially like the smoked glass on the front, so the tumbling clothes are visible; it's just a nice touch.
Just got the new dryer (GE® 7.4 cu. ft. Capacity with Sensor Dry Electric Dryer) delivered and installed. Giving t a 5 star rating because it looks promising with the aesthetically appealing exterior and all the fancy functions. Will review again after a couple of months to see if it held up to its promise.
Faster dry time than my prior Samsung dryer. So far more effecient than my prior Samsung dryer. The door is extremely secure for family with young children. Love the vent...not too deep. When I compare my two GE washer and dryer to my prior Samsung washer and dryer my mind is at peace.
Just received our new dryer today and have used it twice. It's amazing. I love all the different options it has for different fabrics, bedding, delicates and the mixed load. The sanitize option is great. We have always had GE dryers and wash machines and they are great appliances. I would highly recommend this product.
Love the load capacity and wash/ drying options!!! It's better to use the auto water level option. Because when you select the water level manually (ie: small, medium, large) there can be water left in an area that will cause it to smell like mildew.
We love our GE Dryer. For the price, it does a great job of drying out clothes without over heating them. We like the ability to adjust the settings based on what is being dried. We also like the reminder after the items are done. The wrinkle free feature does what it says. It keeps my dress shirts crisp without the wrinkles.
I really like my new washing machine. Im getting used to the new digital settings on the machine. Having experimenting with tge different options that i can use with different types of loads to wash. Has great features...
We have had thIs dryer less than a year and the inside of the dryer is already rusting despite never leaving wet laundry to sit inside. All clothes are dried immediately.
This is the worst dryer I have ever had. I thought very highly of GE products but this dryer has changed my mind. The lint filter doesn't work well so you have to take it out and vacuum underneath it once a week. There is no easy to remove panel to make this job easier. I've never had a lint trap perform so poorly. If that wasn't bad enough, the door switch doesn't work. I have to tape a thin sheet of plastic over the door switch in order to turn the dryer on. Otherwise it thinks the door is open and won't operate. Even with that, I still have to open and close the door several times to get it to start.
