[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big GE fan anyways so to add this to my arsenal was a no brainer. It lives up to the GE brand. The oven is very good size and nice stainless steel exterior so looks nice in my kitchen. The controls are super easy that you can get right to cooking without having to study a manual. I have done fried green beans in the air fryer which turned out crispy and perfect. I also do a low carb bread and use the toasting option. My toast turns out perfect every time. I started at 3 and slowly went up until I got the right brownness. I decided I like the 1 slice, 4 brownness the best. With the holidays approaching this is going to be used constantly and come in super handy. Even though I have double ovens it seems like there is always something waiting to be cooked but now I won't have that problem. I attached a few pictures so everyone can see how great this little over looks. Highly recommend. You won't be sorry! Oh and one last thing this is super easy to clean. Bottom tray just pulls out for cleaning and then slide back in.
Does it all perfectly! Needs some time to master, but no disasters. Fry foods are back in my kitchen! Get a TO/FRY cookbook to get hints and tried recipes. Shortcut charts also recommended - takes guesswork away. Bonnne Appetit! P.s Older, widowed guy reviewing this product
I just love my GE Digital Air Fry and Toaster Oven. It has an excellent look, beautiful, well built and works fantastically. I air fry my french fries with no oil and they come out crunchy, just perfect. Also the size of the oven is the best I found when comparing to other brands. I strongly recommend this product. Very happy with it.
It's a great oven. It's perfect in size and portability in our small kitchen area. I am impressed with he ease of use with the minimal dials and effective enough to bake or broil evenly.
My wife has wanted an air fryer for a long time. "We' got this for Christmas. It's been great and made cooking so much simpler. We haven't used half the features yet, but it has made life easier. I couldn't have asked for more.
Just purchased this and have used it 3 times so far. Once for air fry which is wonderful. Second to toast and it did well. Third, baked bread..took longer than expected. Turn knobs at top also get hot to touch. I have also noticed when the unit is turned off I keep hearing this high pitched ringing sort of cricket noise coming from bottom vent slots. It quits if I unplug it. Not sure what that is all about. Other than that I will keep using it for now see how it goes
Large box for baking over pizza size air fryers. Handy drip tray under the basket. Only con is it doesn't have a power off feature. It will go off after a while on its own.
I love all the features about this unit, especially the stay warm! the only thing I wish is that the basket could be nonstick as it is a serious pain to clean.
Important appliance to have, we enjoy having it at home
So far we have had good experiences with our new GE 8-1 air fryer. We are experimenting with many different types of meat fish and poultry. It's been working very well. We will be using it a lot since we are only cooking for 2 being retired and all.
