We was pleasantly surprised at how much space this refrigerator has, we have owned a few refrigerators over the years( at a lot more money) and by far this is our favorite one.
So far, so good. We had a fridge from when we moved into our first and only home (11/1984). This is a Silver model that shows minimum finger prints. Fridge on top, freezer on bottom. We chose NOT to get any water features, as I work in insurance. That's all I'll say about that.
Love this product. Lots of space. Cools perfectly. Fingerprints don't show. Has great Sabbath feature.
This frig replaced a Frenc Door Model. Although I like the French door look it just didn't work in the nook/wall at. Pace, Thss model nay has one door but the interior is huge. The shelf arrangement gets me plenty of space for taller and wider items I love it
Very spacious design for the fridge part. Freezer could be a bit larger but overall I love it. Easy to setup with very intuitive controls. Much better than French door models.
Works great, however you have to be vigilant about closing the door. I'm just not used to pushing the door shut. Our old refrigerator would be easier to shut.
its a nice refrigerator but handles keep loosening up and the GE emblem used to hide the door handle holes keeps falling off and it looks really bad with out it
It lives up to my expectations except the size of the freezer. This is my first bottom freezer. Since the new frig was slightly bigger than my last one, I was quite surprised and baffled when I couldn't get everything in the new freezer, which is 1.75 cubic feet larger than my old freezer. I removed the icemaker and still didn't get everything in. Upon closer inspection I realized the issue is the height of the walls on the upper basket. The are 4" lower than the ceiling of the freezer. That's a lot of dead space. I purchased thin plastic and cut it to raise the sides of the upper right basket to deal with this drawback.
After 3 months, the water line is very loud, although it's gradually gotten a bit quieter. The fridge door has never closed well and seems misaligned.
at fist i was very pleased but then.... the first thing that broke is the handle of the freezer. 19 month ofter bought the part is no longer available. second the first shelf framing which is too weak broke. and today the last bottom plastic shelf located in the door also broke. it fell on the floor while the dorr open not to mention that the door is so large and heavy that its not closing freely. you have to push otherwise it stay open. it's the worst bought i did. absolutly horrible.
