only had for a couple days but love it so much. not totally sure i'll use the few additional features compared to the next lower model so i'd probably save some money and go with the lower one next time. but either way, super happy so far just a day and a few uses after installing it.
I loved my new washer and dryer, is big , we are family of 6 this washer and dryer performs very well, we are happy!!! After a lot of research I decided on GE!!!
I like that it dries clothes without over or under drying them thus saving energy and money. The larger capacity is also a win. What I really like is that appliances have evolved and this GE dryer is no exception. You will not be disappointed!
This dryer was easy to install, even with the steam feature. Door direction is easily changed and the controls are user friendly. Loving the WiFi connectivity and the ability to control remotely. It's great getting reminder notifications when cycles are complete.
We have had this product for about a month now and it has been awesome. Awesome quality and great features including steam. Love that we are able to reverse the door since the dryer is stacked on top of our matching washer.
These GE washers and dryers are the best in class. They clean VERY well with easy access to the clean out. Easy installation onto the pedestals or stacking the dryer.
I am happy with my dryer this far. It dries efficiently, has not increased my costs in utilities but I love the various features and cycles that can be utilized allowing me more efficient drying times. Still learning all of the options on the dryer but it works really well and does not leave you where the cycle finishes but your items are still damp issues and now you start over - not with this dryer - fully dry, towels fluffy, and good to go!
So far we are liking our new Washer & Dryer. Both do a great job cleaning/drying our clothes. Only issue we've found is that they are louder than the 12 year old LG units they replaced. We do still need to sync the two units together.
Good dryer does what it says however, it states “steam” - not so. It does not produce steam. It throws water on your clothes then proceeds to dry them. Useless feature being offered by every manufacturer. Also paid to install but the first installers said to install Steam feature- (water hose) I had to buy washer and dryer together. Told him to stop install and take it back- he said he would install the hose . Returned the first dryer due to steam feature not working only to find it never produced steam. Second installers did a good job. Bought from GE Appl. and paid more for the appliance- in the end because they handled dryer exchange I am giving a higher rating
Love the look of the new GE dryer; however still getting used to differences from my previous Whirlpool machine. One potential disadvantage is the Wrinkle Care will tumble your load following the completion of the cycle, but ONLY for 1 hour. Therefore if you throw a load in the dryer before bed; the clothes could still sit for hours and be wrinkled when you get back to them. My previous machine would give them a tumble every hour or so until you get them out to reduce wrinkles (which was helpful in scenario's when you will be away from the dryer for more than an hour after a cycle completes. The sound is also very low therefore cannot hear when a cycle ends from another room. The difference between the levels of volume are very minimal; I therefore have to use the app to know when a load finishes.
