This replaced an older under the sink washer that was very old. This one does a great job cleaning glasses and dishes. Because of the size of my kitchen that has very limited space, this model fits perfectly under the sink and allows me to have a dishwasher.
I saw that your GE Spacesaver Under the Sink dishwasher is no longer being manufactured. I am very disappointed. I am so happy with my GE Under the Sink dishwasher. I have been using it for years. It is great. I visited a friend's home over the weekend. Their kitchen needed this dishwasher, but I can't recommend it because it is no longer being manufactured. I don't know what I will do when I need a new one. My kitchen is too small for a regular dishwasher that is not under the sink. My friend's kitchen is too small for a regular dishwasher also. They need one that fits under the sink. Please reconsider making this "Under the Sink" dishwasher again. I know there are many homeowners that can benefit with an under the sink dishwasher. Most just don't know about it. I wouldn't have known about this type of dishwasher if I hadn't lived in an apartment that had one. Please reconsider making this dishwasher again, a perfect solution for a small kitchen that has no room for a regular dishwasher.
My new GE appliances look great in my kitchen with my new counter tops
GE was the only one to make this model, I have a client who has this in their hotels across the country and need replacements! There is literally NOTHING out there like this. GE should reconsider bringing this model back! The alternative is to have them redo their millwork and cabinetry!
Saw and used this in our hotel room!! LOVE IT FOR SMSLL SPACES!!! WIN!!!
Bring this dishwasher back. Our kitchen is way too small for a regular one. The one we have is dying and I need a replacement!
Please bring this back. Can't find it anywhere . Need for people who can't change their kitchen
This unit was purchased to replace an older model that had seen better days. While it does run quieter than the previous model, the redesigned lower tray makes it much more difficult to fit our dishes then the previous tray. The locking mechanism for the door is also much less sturdy, and the soft touch buttons on the front panel feel as if they may come loose at any time. in addition to all of this, it seems to take longer to run a lower than the previous model. So this leaves us with a dishwasher that takes longer to run, and can fit fewer dishes per load. It was nice to find this model available for purchase, considering we cannot fit a full-size dishwasher in our current space, but the minor differences in features compared to the previous model are something of a disappointment.
Title: "The Great Dishwasher Rebellion: A Comedy of Suds and Sorrow" Oh, the saga of my GE dishwasher – a tragicomedy that rivals Shakespearean tales! This rebellious contraption has declared war on dirty dishes, and alas, the battle has left me in stitches. From its mysterious clunks to its waterworks that rival Niagara Falls, this dishwasher has a flair for the dramatic. It's not just an appliance; it's a diva demanding attention with every spin cycle. I must confess, the soap dispenser has mastered the art of surprise. Will it release detergent gracefully, or will it launch a soapy rebellion across my kitchen? It's a game of chance, and I've become an unwitting contestant. The door, oh, the door! It swings open with such gusto that I half-expect it to break into a musical number. Perhaps a dishwasher-themed rendition of "I Will Survive." After all, it has survived countless dinner parties and spaghetti-night catastrophes. And let's not forget the grand finale – the dishwasher's pièce de résistance: a symphony of clinks and clanks that could rival a percussion ensemble. It's like having a dishwasher and a drum set all in one – truly a multitasking marvel. In conclusion, my GE dishwasher has transformed dishwashing into a riveting comedy, complete with unexpected plot twists and a cast of characters that includes stubborn spinach bits and elusive fork tines. It might be broken, but it's broken with style. Bravo, GE, bravo!
Cleans very well, even pots and pans. With use of finishing product in reservoir, no spots are on glasses or silverware. Heat dry does dry very well. The reason it's 3 stars is the size. I had to buy smaller dishes, my dinner plates would not fit. The top shelf is really only a half shelf. The back of that shelf is ok for very short things, like little pet bowls or spatulas, but doesn't fit even short glasses. My previous dishwasher was full size and this one seems apartment sized on the inside, although the outside is the same size.
