The GE washer and dryer is not only stylish and unique, it is one of the best I've ever had! I wanted to give GE a try and I'm so happy I did. The features are amazing!
GE Profile Top load washer is the only way to go for me from now on! No More front load door seal mold and smell! This machine Rocks. Smart, digital controls and cleans like a washer should! Dryer is the bomb in natural gas! Way more energy efficient and faster drying time . Love them both!

I wasn't prepared for having such a smart dryer! I was pleasantly surprised! I love the look, the way it dries and how easier it is to determine what type of temperature, etc for various clothing.
We just received this washer as part of a washer and gas dryer set. Aside from the smart features, the overall appearance is very sleek and compact. I love that the finish is not metal and less prone to fingerprints and other marks. I actually can't wait to jump into doing laundry!
I'm on the fence with my dryer. On the second load after installment the dryer didn't work. Called store and tried to troubleshoot problem. The next day they had to install a new board on dryer. Uneasy I'm going to have more problems with this dryer.
Not happy at all with this dryer. The “Normal” is supposed to sense the clothes are dry and be energy saving. It doesn't work. Clothes are always heavily damp and requires me to put them back in on Timed Dry for 20 or 40 minutes.
This dryer dried one light load of clothing then quit on the second. I'm trying to get service for it. I like the color but as for the matching washer, I had 3 washers delivered & only the 3rd worked.
I've had this set (washer and dryer) for around two months and I HATE them/it. The dryer doesn't dry! I have to run a cycle at least three times to get my clothes completely dry! I have tried setting on towels (which is usually a hotter cycle), 90-min. timed dry thinking great, I have control over how long it runs. Have set on regular - no help. Have tried ALL the choices to no avail. I want someone to disconnect the sensor feature! Since it's under warranty I have reached out twice and of course, no one replies. I'm sure they will wait until it's no longer under warranty so they can say, sorry about that. I purchased GE because through the years the brand was a good product - NEVER AGAIN! I am facing having to purchase another brand dryer so I can get my clothes dry!
The dryer setting worked for a few months, we have not been able to use the steam setting yet. We have had 7 visits from repair techs to replace the belts, sensors, and other parts. It currently does not spin or dry but maybe the 8th visit will make it work. After the first 3 visits we began asking for GE to replace the machine since ours is a dud and were told repeatedly that it'll be fine after "this fix." We have the warranty for a couple more months so we're hoping it might get fixed. If you need a dryer that works for more than a few months at a time, this is not the one for you.
