I have only had my washer a few days but so far I love it !! It has quiet features and when the clothes come out, they are smelling fresh, clean and not dripping with water.
This dryer is amazing. It's very quiet and it dries our clothes much quicker than our other dryer. I really like the steam options for de wrinkling. You will have to run a cold water line to the dryer to use this feature or less your washer is on the side of your dryer. They are very easy to use, I like how all the settings are preset even though you can change or set your own settings. The price of the dryer is very reasonable. I will definitely purchase this dryer again, matter of fact we even purchased the matching washer and it's even amazing. So thank you GE.
First washer and dryer set owned. Ive used many before it and the washer was amazing. It was quick, left my work clothes feeling so clean, and best of all, they look so well inside my new home.
Sort of confused with the Normal-Eco Mode. It seems that when I dry clothes under the preset-normal mode, the clothes will not be dry at the end of the cycle. So I have to add 10 minutes in the Timed-dry mode and then everything is fine.
This dryer is noisier than my kenmore elite that recently died. Love the touch screen and other features it offers. Never had a steam dryer, so this will be a new experience. Couldn't wait to try it out. Heats up very fast.
I normally don't write negative reviews but feel I must. Have not even had this dryer for a month and already need to make service call. There is a very loud clunking noise coming from the back of the dryer and it takes longer to dry clothes than my old 10 yr Frigidaire dryer. I have a new home with all GE Profile appliances and have also had to place a call for the new refrigerator that will not dispense water. Regretting my decision to purchase GE appliances. Thought I was purchasing reliability and quality. I am hoping these issues are quick and easy fixes. At this point I would not recommend.
This dryer has not worked properly since we purchased it. Sometimes it will run and sometimes it will start and turn off immediately and you cannot restart it. There is either a loose wire or some other control panel issue. I would not recommend this product.
I've only had this dryer for exactly 82 days and it's squealing on every dryer cycle so loud that my newborn wakes up crying in the middle of the night. What a waste of money, first and last time I purchase a GE product #SMDH
Dryer seems to be sensor-less and leaves clothes damp causing clothes to smell of mildew - Unless I run it twice
18 Months old and stopped drying. I have tested the plug, the outlet and my Breaker Box all of which show the correct voltage. The only thing it can be now is the Dryer itself which I am assuming is the Heating Element. My wife and I are extremely upset as we believe in the GE product line. There is only 3 of us in our household, So, we do not have a large wash load and for it to go out in just 18 months is very frustrating to say the least. We are so frustrated we are possibly looking into contacting a family member who works for a primetime news station on shedding a little exposure on this situation, possibly helping others of which appears to have the same issue on here. Very disappointing.
