Since having the item, our regular oven hasn't been used. It's a remarkable product and everything that we've cooked so far, came out perfect! I'm amazed at "no preheat" needed and it's actually true. Can't wait to try chicken wings with the air fryer.
This is a great counter top style oven. It cooks fast and the features are plentiful. We live in a small apartment and it has greatly increased the amount of food we can make at once. With a little one on the way the new oven gives me peace of mind because I can get meals ready quickly so I can focus on the baby.
Very good oven has a very difficult learning curve when setting up and when your on WiFi once your learn all that and learn all your cooking features this oven is amazing 🤩 The oven is easy to clean and you should wipe it down inside and outside every use takes about 5 minutes

We love the convenience of being able to use the oven and the air fryer. I only have one complaint and that is when I got to remove the food I sometimes get burnt on the top of my hands but overall it is amazing and we are in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know countertop ovens are never really exciting. We've all had them, and they're usually reserved to throw a few mozzarella sticks in for the kiddo. This is NOT that…I feel like this is what you get when you incorporate the tech from one of those sci-fi food replicators with an oven. Ok, it doesn't actually 3D print food , but I really feel it does everything else! This oven (GE Profile Smart Oven with No Preheat) has been shockingly great in ways we never expected since we first placed in our kitchen. Yes, I actually giggled in delight when I first opened it (I was perhaps much more excited than I should be to see that it opens much like a ‘back to the future' Delorian. I mean, come on, that's just plain fun. The whole thing has a sleek, very modern design but the true test was how much we actually use it. We started off slow, with just toast and waffles. I never realized that toasters don't really toast the sides of things and this guy toasts perfectly, and so superiorly that we donated our toaster (and it was a lovely one.) So check, it toasts well, but so do many things. Then it proceeded to save my husbands birthday cake: I did the dreaded heart-wrenching error of pulling out a baking cake too early from our gas oven. I turned off the oven and started to let it cook too long to put it back in without completely re-preheating (we all know that never works.) It was a disaster - raw in the center with not enough ingredients to make another. Remembering this countertop oven had no preheat, I decided to try it. I mean, there was really no hope. I didn't think a full size Bundt cake would fit, but it actually had plenty of extra space. I popped it in, set it and … *drum roll* it was COOKED in the inside and not burnt on outside in just a few minutes. Since then, this smart oven has seen a ton of action: the pizza setting cooks far better than my traditional gas oven (and it's a higher end one,) air frying has made the best oil-free fries and kale chips we've had, and our cookies even turn out more evenly cooked. We've all found that we use this much more than we would have ever thought, in fact I just made the huge sized pack of chicken for dinner in it. Perfectly juicy. Excuse me for going on and on, I just super love this smart oven - even the app and siri controls to turn it off/on. Really though, If you're on the fence about this one, just try it, you'll love it from that first flash of colored lights and Delorian-like door opening *humming back to the future theme *:)
Fantastic appliance. The Coolest in looks and specs out of all other options. I've used Air-fry, Reheat and Bake till now and all work as it is advertised, i.e. no preheat needed. Plus it adds an aesthetically pleasing appeal to the kitchen. Totally worth the money.
I've been using this oven for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it. This is not my first toaster oven but definitely the best I've ever used. There are several smart features on this and they are all well thought out and easy to use. I had no issues connecting to my home network and have had the opportunity to use most of the smart features. Even Alexa worked well without any issue. I love that there is no pre heating necessary and it really does work like that. That alone must be a tremendous saving on the electric bill each month. I love this oven. 5 stars and thumbs up!
Had this oven now for a week. With 3 hungry boys who always want to eat, where has this thing been all my life ?! Cooks fast on bake or broil or air fry. Fryer basket is stainless steel and fits a lot. Love how the door opens upward. Safer. So far it is saving me a lot of time in kitchen. No preheat feature truly works and is awesome. Pizza is baking right away. Made a 3/4 inch thick steak on air fry. Came out great. 400. 7-8 minutes each side. Medium rare. Tasted great. Used broiler pan with rack.
I purchased the GE smart oven as a replacement to my Instapot oven. The great thing about the GE Profile smart oven is I don't have to wait for it to heat up. I would rated the oven a five if it had a rotisserie feature. It's just the right size for my countertop. This one is a keeper I ♥️ it.
I was super excited to use my new toaster oven and do love it. There are a few things that prevent me from giving this 5 stars though. What I love is the door and the pop out tray, super helpful. The quality on this is better than my previous ninja. The different settings make deciding on a temp easy to use. I love the smart app feature which allows me to turn on when I want too. 1st: every time I want to use it, I need to pull it out from under the cabinets on my counter. The garage door was a super cool feature, however, the door raises too high if it stays in its home against the wall. The door will hit the underside of the cabinet preventing it from opening. This is a design flaw as I have standard size cabinets. 2nd: it cooks too hot too quick. On every use so far I have followed the package instructions for heating or air frying and everything is overdone. I have made some adjustments like reducing the temp by 5-10 degrees and the time (both reductions at once) and have still managed to burn garlic knots. 3rd: the touch screen on the unit doesn't always work when you touch it. 4th: it took 6 air fry cycles to get rid of the awful smell it comes with, instructions say only once, but that was definitely not enough to get rid of the smell. I previously had a Ninja air fryer and did not have these issues. I like the quality of the GE much better as well as the appearance. I think there is room for improvement though. One feature I would love to see on ALL toaster over combo units is a self cleaning feature. I will use this more often than my regular oven, but they are hard to keep clean which also affects how the unit cooks. I would love to see a feature like that added into a future model.
