We use the plug with google home mini for our lanai lights. The outlet for the lights is about 7 ft from the floor and it was a pain to plug them in to turn on and off. Now, all we have do do from inside our house is ask Google to turn on outside lights and boom! They're on until we ask Google to turn them off. Awesome idea!
I just bought this and installed. Configuration is super easy. Works fine as expected via mobile app. Very happy about the product so far.
These Geeni products work great. They are easy to connect to using my 2.4ghz WiFi. No issues at all. I highly recommend!

Works good.......for lights. Used one with a little space heater and it fried. They should really be 15amp instead of 10amp.
This worked for less than a month. I had it attached to my air fryer and it short circuited or fused after two weeks of use. I contacted the support for a refund or a new one, and they kept diverting the request or providing useless instructions even though their product has obviously failed! DO NOT BUY!
I do not have location services turned on in my phone and i do not want it on. Too many ways to track my every move and steal my identity AGAIN! With out the location service turned on it will not work. What a waste! Never got to the 5g wifi issue. I guess it will make a good target :) Will never buy this brand again.
I have 5 of these plugs. One failed after 5 months. The second failed a week later. Customer service is not standing behind their product. I would advise to avoid you all geeni and Merkury products.
