I have only had this a few days but so far it works great. The blaster does need to be charged before you can use it and charges via a usb cord. The usb cord is included but you will need to have your own plug. It only took about an hour to fully charge. I can't say how long the charge will last as the blaster has not run down yet. We did not shoot each other but set up empty water bottles and shot at that and trees. The gellets were shooting a really long way. I think the claim is 100 feet. I would definitely say they shoot that far. It seems like this would hurt especially if you were hit close up. Be sure to wear the safety goggles because it could put your eye out if you got hit in the eye. The safety googles included are a good quality. If you are shooting and the gun seems to not be shooting the gellets just turn it upside down and shake it. This happened with my blaster and shaking it fixed the problem. If you do not shoot all the gellets you need to take the bottle off the blaster and add some water to the remaining gellets and put the lid back on the bottle until you are ready to use it again. The blaster is a lot of fun to play with and is fairly easy to set up. I would recommend this to others and would purchase in the future.
This is so much fun for adults and kids alike. This blaster will get everybody moving and active while having a lot of fun. You can play this in your own backyard with no worry about cleanup. All the ammo is completely biodegradable so it leaves no mess at all. Gellets dissolve within an hour or so. This is a safe clean way to get some action going for ages 9+. It even uses clean, non-toxic ammo that you make yourself. The non-toxic ammo doesn’t hurt either, the gellets feel like a little rubber band sting so you can feel good about the kids playing with this. This comes with a pair of safety glasses and a giant bag of 10,000 pallets. The gel blaster is easy to fill and the little non-toxic, eco-safe, biodegradable gellets take about two hours to rehydrate and you are ready to go. Once the gel blaster surge is charged up with the USB-C cable that’s included, it gives you about four hours of play. The hopper on this one holds up to 800 gellets at a time. This keeps the kids busy and active for hours.

Hello I'm reviewing an item that I have received, this is from Gel blaster!! This is a great company they have amazing products! This is for the gel Blaster surge gun, blast over a hundred feet fully automatic! This is a really convenient item to have for any family especially kids over the age of 15! I would not suggest young girls or young kids to use it!our whole family loves it and it's definitely a great product to have works very well shoots fast rapid fire make sure you keep plenty of gel Blaster ammo! It's very accurate! Shoots on point has a great distance!
Wow this Electric Gel Blaster is awesome, it shoots far, and strong and you can change it to a single shot or automatic lots of shots, it charges fast and it comes with 10,000 green gellets, with is super easy to make. My son spends lots of time playing outside now instead of video games, I am getting an extra one for my daughter who is 17, my son invited his friends to play and now they all want one! Playing with this is so much fun and exciting! The blaster is high quality, my kid drop it a couple of times and even in the water, and still working perfectly fine! Just an awesome toy to play with!
I have an 18 year old daughter and a 12 year old daughter. Both of my girls loved it and had so much fun with it. It aims and shoots well. She lined up water bottles with it and knocked them down. So I would say its pretty accurate. It holds a lot of ammo. It can be single shot or an automatic shot. Would highly recommend! Great quality
This kit comes with everything needed to get started - the blaster, gellet pack, safety glasses, and the charger cord. There is a light on the blaster so you know when it is fully charged. I was surprised how loud it actually was though. However, the gellet's do sting when you are hit with them, so be cautious - didn't leave any marks on us, but you knew when you were hit by one of them. The 10,000 gellets will last for a while as well. There is a changeable inset for the blaster to change how many FPS the gellets travel. Isn't very accurate, but is a lot of fun for kids (and adults!).
It's a good gun but when I bought mine THE BATTERY LASTED 5 shots like why is the battery so bad I charged it 25 hours I only get 5 shots per charging 🙄🙄😞
I bought 8 guns for my son's birthday Gellyball battle party. The week of the party I charged all 8 guns. 4 guns lasted about 10 shots before dying. The 4 guns I thought “worked” died between 5 and 15 minutes into the party. I tried charging them using different cables and adapters and the ones that failed after 10 shots always failed after 10 shots. If Walmart let me upload videos I'd upload a video showing how they don't work. I'm returning all 8 guns and crossing my fingers for a refund. Thankfully I anticipated this disaster and borrowed 4 other gel blasters from a friend and bought 4 additional gel blasters. Gel Blaster should recall all these Surge guns because they're trash. I hate to even recommend Gel Blaster after this experience but our 8 borrowed/backup guns are different models of Gel Blaster that worked. Just stay away from Surge!
