My son and nephew and I sing and play guitar at a local pub. We were constantly required to bring mics and stands with us. It wasn't a problem if we played outside. There was plenty of space. It was cramped inside and the stands took up much of the space. These were purchased for our live gigs. They have been great so far. My wife said that the vocals sound as good with them as the corded microphones. I did not detect any interference. One thing I will warn you about. The wireframe headset is used with the mic clipped in. You will get wind noise and breath if you place it directly in front of your mouth. We moved the mic slightly away from our mouths so that the sound doesn't hit it when we sing. This worked brilliantly. We have only done one show so we are not sure about the battery life. The battery lasted for 3 hours without any problems. Purchased this product for personal music gigs and speaking engagements, switching between indoor and outdoor venues. I tested the system on my Fender Passport speaker system. As with everything, it takes a little fiddling to get everything tuned up for live music work, but overall performance was excellent. The available option of switching between lavalier and headset mics using the same microphone is a nice touch. My one critique is that the unit had a marked decrease in performance at far shorter a range than was advertised, and I had to be in direct line of sight of the head unit, but that's something I've noticed with other wireless units as well. Overall this is a great unit, especially considering that comparable units I've seen are considerably more expensive.
