I purchased this unit for emergency situations to keep the freezer and refrigerator cold and use emergency medical equipment running if needed. Out of the box after refilling the oil and adding some fuel the unit started on the second pull. I plugged in the freezer and it pulled the load with no problem. The Unit's cost was about half of what I would have paid for a honda and it works just as good, very quiet.... my neighbors wouldn't even know it was running! I bought the walmart protection plan (good investment) so if anything happens to the unit for 3 years I'm covered. Very happy here in Washington state!
Great value, simple to operate and very quiet. Had it shipped directly to my house and it arrived in two days.
I used only one weekend to power a 19 ft. travel trailer. So far, good it powered the roof A/C and the refrigerator. It start with two pull, a little noise but manageable.
I bought this for my 18 foot travel trailer to dry camp out in the desert. I only needed it to charge the battery and to run the Directv for a couple hours a night. Well, the first time I used it the ECO switch worked for about 1 hour then the generator went to full throttle and there it stayed for the remainder of my stay. It is so loud that I had to hide it around the corner of my vehicle and run a 50 foot cord out to it. Luckily I was camped in the middle of the desert all alone because if I was in a campground someone would have probably shot it. I wouldn't have even said a word if they did either and probably would have thanked them myself. It would use a tank of gas every 2 hours and keep in mind I was only running a 32 inch LED TV and a Directv box. It died twice for no reason at all and the front panel where the plug outlets and ECO switch are at became electrified and would zap you every time you touched it. I am taking this thing back to Walmart and getting the Honda like I should have in the first place. I also tried the AllPower 2000 watt Gen and it is so loud you can feel the ground vibrate from 50 feet away.
