This 'shoulder pillow' is hard to find in stores, so I compared online. I chose this pillow because it was completely washable. It was better than expected! It was soft and offered great neck support. The material was soft to the touch. I already washed it and it kept it's shape - tumble dry! I highly recommend this pillow. There were 2 pillows in a pack, and I gave one away as a gift!
I ordered these pillows primarily because they're cotton (most neck pillows are polyester), and, you can throw the whole pillow into the washer. I feel like cotton is better to wrap around your neck at night than polyester, though I use my polyester one sometimes, too, I admit. At first I was taken aback when I saw them -- they're double the size of other neck pillows!! But, I've found them very comfy to sleep on, although other times I like my smaller neck pillow. I've gotten to where I don't like watching TV without a neck pillow, they're so comfy. These pillows are a great price and value for two, and because they're cotton, I recommend them. But be warned -- they're double the size of most neck pillows. They're also softer than most neck pillows (my polyester one is quite firm).
I purchased 6 of these pillows and they were very convenient on the Amtrak auto train. This was a 17 hour ride and these pillows helped to make it a lot more comfortable. My only grievances were that they let out a lot of feathers and they would be all over our clothes and they were a little more bulky than what I was expecting. A pillowcase or covering would have made it perfect
200 thread count cover too flimsy to support fiberfil and daily use. Cover ripped (nearly in half) not only along seam but in the center perpendicular to seam after a month of use. Fiberfil stuffing migrated towards ends and center became flattened. Impossible to reposition it. All this after one month of using at night only!! Lesson learned...you get what you pay for. I will spend more and buy a quality, memory foam neck pillow.
I initially thought these pillows were a great value being in a two pack...convenient for our trip! Both pillow split in the center of the neck within a week with normal use. The fabric is very thin and tore very easily.
