Dickies are the best for my 10 year old. We tried other pants but they never held up. These are tough enough for a growing boy but also hold up to repeated washing. They stay looking good. He wears these for his school uniform and must look good. We also buy dickies for Dad. They hold up for his work pants.
Made of nice thick sturdy material that feels like it could actually take wear and tear from my boys! These took a while to get to me though, unlike the rest of my walmart.com items.
My grandson was having problems with a pant fit, size 18 was too small in the waist, yet a man's small size was too big. But, when I purchased the size 20 he was able to fit them perfectly.
I am pretty new at buying products online. Making sure that the sizes were right and the quality of your products would uphold to the ruggedness of my boys was my mane concern. Now time will tell as far as the quality of your products. So far I am very pleased and enjoy shopping on line. So far this saves me Gas and running and allows me to spend more time with my family. Thank you from a loving father of two.
The Classic Dickies pants are great uniform pants. I purchase them every year for my son. They are tough and do not fade. I wash and hang to dry and that helps to maintain the color. They have elastic waist bands so you're able to adjust according to your child's need. I love them and the price is affordable. You pay a little more than the regular uniform pants but it's worth it. I like a very neat and put together look and this is what I get from the Dickie brand.
Got them for my 14 yr-old, who wears size '18', but I'd ordered size '20' as their '18' were out of stock. Turned out the size '20' fit him alright NOW. The material is thick, the cut is smart, but a bit tight on the hip. For that price, it's a good purchase but you may want to 'size' up.
Unfortunately, these did not work for us and I had to return them. They seemed like a fairly decent quality for the price, however my son did not care for the stiff, rough fabric. The sizing is on the small side. He typically wears a size 12 and has to adjust the waist to make them smaller. There is no adjustable waist in these pants, however they were fairly tight around the waist on him. The color had more "green" tones in them, as opposed to a more neutral or brown undertone. Overall, not a bad pair of pants as they do seem very durable & the price is great, but just not the right pair for us.
These pants run almost a size bigger in the waist. Other than needing a belt they are super durable.
I read a description that said they were adjustable waist, and they were not. On my very thin son, there was at least 3 extra inches around the waist that was impossible to correct by "taking them in". Good quality pants and a great price, but the size was way off and didn't match the description. I was able to easily return them to my local Walmart, which was good.
Online it stated that these pants had the adjustable waste band but they don't.
