I bought these for my son for school, since he is so picky about pants... by far he just loves his dickies. Now I have to buy every six months...
If you have a child that is rough on school clothes, I highly recommend Dickies. They are study, durable, and long lasting. I refuse to by any other brand. The double knee guard with withstand the playground days and won't fade like other brands. My son gets easily 8 months of wear out of these pants.

Double knee is great! They didn't wear out when my son was little and they don't wear out now that he is working. My son has worn these pants for over 10 years and loves them. So sad they are being discontinued!!

We enjoy Dickies Pants for our growing boys who often run holes in the knees of regular blue Jean pants before they can out grow them! Dickies have a double knee, and sturdy material and we can pass them down before they wear out. They also seem to run a little longer and have an adjustable waist for extended wearing time. We have had several pair that have lasted the boys over a year!! We are happy with Dickies pants for our growing, rough, working boys. I recommend them for everyday wear but they are also nice enough to wear to church or special events. Dickies are great pants at a good price. Worth it! ( I do have to mention that my husband has been wearing the same few Dickie pants and shirts as his everyday work uniform for the last three years. He works at a lumber mill and before buying Dickies he was wearing out his blue jeans and regular shirts monthly. When the time comes to replace his work clothes we will be buying Dickies pants and shirts again!!)
Thank you for having regular cut pants, I cant stand skinny pants that everyone is selling now. Please dont do away with regular cut.
These pants are well made and true to size in the waist, but the length is something else. I have bought several brands of pants in 16 Husky for my grandson, and the waist and length fit just fine. Unfortunately, not this time. The pants were so long, we had to cut off almost 7" before we could hem them. The quality is good, but I prefer to buy pants that are ready to wear.
I bought these for my son who went through 6 pairs of uniform pants in less than 2 months time. I found myself repairing holes on the knees every weekend. I purchased these and he comes home and can barely tell he wore them. The knees are not all dirty and scraped up. The quality is excellent. The only complaint that I have is...sizing and fit. My son is 5 and was wearing a size 5 in uniform pants. So, I purchased size 5 for him with the dickies and they are so baggy. I usually buy my son slim fit pants since he is so skinny and I hate how baggy pants hang over shoes. Needless to say, I cannot use the size 5 pants for another year or so. I ended up buying him 2 pairs of size 4 dickies and 2 pairs of size 4 slim dickies. The size 4 somewhat fit but they hang weird due to bagginess again. The size 4 slims are somewhat better but not that slim in reality. Just slimmer than the regular. These fit nicer but due to being slim, they kind of look like highwaters. He is wearing them for now but think I will need to buy him size 5 slims. I am sure they will be somewhat baggier than I like but, at least he is not wearing through the knees like before. That was so stressful.
These pants fit like a 16 reg. I had to purchase GEORGE pants and some other brand of 16H that are made slightly bigger and fit my son the right way. Nice pants, just the sizing is all wrong and smaller than expected.
