I normally purchase my children's school uniforms from the specific uniform shops & JC Penny's (Izod brand). For the price of these pants and the quality, I will be utilizing Walmart more for these type of purchases. They were a good fit and I was impressed with the durability of the extra knee protection (which my son definitely needs). I would recommend purchasing these pants.
My six-year-old son has put holes in the knees of every pair of his uniform pants except these. The adjustable waistband is also a great feature. These are the only pants I will buy for him now.
I Love the pants!! I especiallylike the double knee feature. They wash well and last!! I found these pants mid-year for uniform, but will definitely be purchasing them in the Fall!!
school uniform pants were hard to get at the store since sizes were always out. site to store made it easy and affordable to shop on line. I will use this in the future Thanks!
These pants are a great value compared to the price of the leading uniform companies. One thing George should brag about is that these pants have an adjustable elastic waistband on the inside that is great for those that are a little slimmer than average.
I buy these for my son who attends a private school. The "required" pants are twice the price but no better quality. We've been buying these for 5 years now. I wish you could still get slim sizes past size 14 - he still needs them - but we make do with a belt and a tucked in shirt. Wish they were in the store year round but we are okay since they are online.
I bought a pr of these pants for each son to have on hand for any semi-dressy occassion. I really like the reinforced knees, and anyone with boys can relate to the holes all the time. I was a little disappointed in the roomy fit of all 3 sizes. I wish I had ordered them a size smaller than what my boys normally wear. Overall, a good product for the money.
These are not the George dress pants found in the store. They have a double reinforced Knee, which I'm sure makes a great uniform pant for younger kids (K-4), but are not a suitable dress pant for a 12 year old.
The quality of the pants seems to be fine, but the waist size is NOT that of other brands carried by Wal Mart or Wal Mart.com...they do not fit nearly as well as other brands. I would suggest buying this brand IN store, not online.
Last year Walmart HAD terrific boys uniform pants: Adjustable waist, reinforced knees, and easy hook and eye closure. All at a great price! I thought, finally someone got it right! SO what do they do? Switch brands! George brand feel cheep, no reinforced knees which means holes within weeks and a difficult button closure which is tough for my 7 year old. This brand is totally not worth the money.
