My granddaughter love it.
When I ordered this I have to admit I didn't know it was a school uniform sweater. It is a nice light weight cardigan that any one one could wear. I recommend this sweater.
Cardigans are probably my favorite layering piece because they are so easy to throw on when a chill hits in the grocery store, movie theater, or wherever. The George Jr. Drape Cardigan in Navy is sure to be an important addition to my wardrobe. This color navy is very deep, inky, almost black. The cut allows not only a drape in the front, but also the ability to tie the top part of the folds into a knot in order to keep the cardigan closed, as needed or desired. It is easy to wear, with a warm cotton blend fabric (55% cotton, 45% acrylic), and easy to care for, as it is machine wash and dry. This makes me feel comfortable wearing it in any weather situation. No worries about rain. And with two young kids, I won't fret about wearing it at the park or at any other not so clean places. While I am an adult woman, this garment is intended for junior girls. It is also part of the uniform wardrobe offered by the George brand. The medium fits me nicely with room to layer other clothes underneath. I can certainly find ways to wear this year round. It does not provide total bum coverage, however, and that would be the only issue I have with this cardigan. At 5 feet even, the back of the cardigan hits about 5 inches below my waist and only covers half of my rear. A taller person would certainly have even less coverage.
