I bought this coat in the store and loved it so much I bought another one in another color a couple of weeks later. The first day I wore it to work I got several compliments on it and my friends commented on it when they first saw it as well. My only complaint is that I did have to go up one size to get the right fit across the bust.
I don't know why so many people bashed this coat. It's absolutely PERFECT! The style is beautiful,the colors are very pretty,and it fits like a dream! I saw the SAME exact one in JCPenney for WAY more,so this one was a steal! I highly recommend this coat. It's gorgeous :)
I read the other reviews but I have to say, I love this coat. I couldn't find any near me so we traveled 60 miles to find them. I bought 4, 2 for me and 2 for my daughter. I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear one. Everyone has said it looks like it came from a high end store. I have the navy and gray and I bought gold and gray for my daughter. I really like the look.
Thank goodness for Asda in the UK. Since Asda and Walmart were linked, the styles in Walmart (George brand) have become very up to date and European. This jacket is a classic example, satin short trenchcoat with tie belt and available in a variety of colors. Reasonably priced (would be 5* but I am basing it on total price inc tax and postage). It is perfect for the fall and spring months and if November and December are anything like they were last year (07), I will be wearing mine for most of the year!
I know,what can you expect for $28 bucks,but usually the quality of most of Walmart's clothes is better than this,this coat is very cute,but cheap looking.
The coat was a disappointment of gigantic proportions. The price was low, but for the quality and workmanship, it should have been lower. It really was not worth what they asked. When I tried it on (it did not fit even though I ordered a size larger) and saw the poor quality, I immediately returned it to the store.
