I bought my son the Geo airport for Christmas and had his grandmother buy this plane for his sister so she could play too. They each have their own trains for the Geotrax set. It was a great plan. We bought the barn too so they'd have more airport track. I am amazed how these planes stay on that tiny track, but they do. You will not be disappointed with this set.
The plane is a good addition to the GeoTrax line. The remote control is easy for my son to use and my toddler daughter can make the plane fly as well. Flies upside down, etc., perfectly. Gets lots of use, so have plenty of batteries on hand.
My two boys, ages 3 and 4 love GeoTrax. They are incredibly durable and have stood up to my kids rough and tough behavior. They play with them almost daily. The GeoTrax airport is a great addition to Geo town and have provided my boys with countless hours of entertainment. Also, setting up the track over and over again really helps their imaginations and seems to be helping to develop their ability to problem solve. Can't say enough good things about these toys.
My sons, ages 2 & 6 received the entire GeoAir set for Christmas. This is the best of the 3 planes. Definitely buy the extra plane if you will have more than one child playing with the set. But, you might want to add the expansion pieces -bridge & barn to give them plenty of room.
My son received the entire geo air collection for Christmas. We have had the geo trax for a long time and were so excited about the planes. It works great. People say that the planes fall off the track. It hasn't happened to us yet. My son thinks the jet is cool. It is very durable and easy to use. We are looking forward to the next new thing in geo town.
I have 6 year old twin boys and an 8 year old boy. They all love the Geotrax trains. The airplanes were a new addition this year and they love those too! The only difference between the trains and the planes is that the planes do not go in reverse. It is a great toy.
I had to plan my Christmas shopping knowing that my 8, 5, and 2 year olds often like to play together. Thus, the plane with the airport, just wasn't going to be enough. Add this to the Airport and Bridge set that came in the bundle, and you can have the two planes chasing each other. They have been having great fun. The only issue I have with the planes is that you really need to time them with the GeoTrax trains so they don't hit each other.
I love Fisher-Price GeoTrax. They are affordable, sturdy, and fun. Also easy for parents to put together. Our 3 year old is now able to snap the track together himself. Nice that you can keep adding to these toys for your kids!
This is a very cute toy and seems to be worth the price by all appearances, but we haven't been able to get the plane to go completely around the track yet. It makes realistic sounds and attempts to go around the track, but at each bend it gets hung up. The track may be more of the problem than the plane.
This plane does not loop around the track. It gets hung up on the track. We returned it. The plane that comes with the track is the only one that works well! I do not recommend buying the other planes. Fisher Price should extend the loop pieces so these planes can make the loop without hitting the track.
