It was so easy to purchase the Gerber pre-fold diapers online. They were just what I was looking for. I made some burp cloths for our new grandchild out of them. They are so durable and a very good price.

Cloth Diapers the way to save

I love these cloth diapers. They work very well. I use them as cloth diapers. I raised three boys with these and the long diapers to fold into diapers. I wash a load each day. I hang dry so it is easy to fold when crisp from the sun. I am raising three grandsons now two in diapers. Back to washing a load a day and folding diapers. I use the prefold in side for more absorbent. I fold three different ways for different events. The night diaper. The day diaper and when they are sick diaper or going out. I enjoy helping the environment and it feels good to know I'm not filling any landfill. It is known that, cloth diapered children are easylied potty trained 6 months sooner than children who use disposable diapers. I heard of snappi's to use instead of using the safety pins. I may try.

Burp Cloths

I used these with my first son as well as my second son. They are so much better than using actual burp cloths. They can absorb so much spit up. They are great for laying under baby's bottom as well. I have had to use them in emergency peeing situations and they catch it all and protect what ever baby is on. They are wonderful and highly recommend!

I love these cloth diapers. They work very well. I use them as cloth diapers. I enjoy helping the environment and it feels good to know I'm not filling in landfills. In addition to that, cloth diapered children are also potty trained 6 months sooner than children who use disposable diapers. I recommend buying snappi's for them instead of using the safety pins. It's much quicker.

great for g-diapers

If you use g-diapers, these are a great alternative cloth diaper liner that literally costs one fifth the cost of their liners, and I honestly like them as well or even better than their much pricier version

i like how they're so wide so they catch alot!! i don't use them as diapers, i bought them as burp rags and they make good ones!! i highly recommend the rock n play sleeper-especially if your little one has reflux, it is a life saver!! i remember thinking how excited i was to find it knowing how much it would help him, i couldn't wait for it to get done washing so i could use it!! he's slept thru the night in it ever since the first use, whereas before i owned the rock n play sleeper he was up allll night bothered by his reflux :) rock n play=10 stars!! (out of five) i cannot emphasize enough-PERFECT for babies with reflux!! i love it and more importantly so does he :)

Terrible diapers!

I have used many different types of cloth diapers on my son and these are the worst I have come across. They have 100% polyester (think quilt batting) core in the middle that makes them fluffy but not at all absorbent. Spend your money on prefolds that are 100% cotton throughout and are diaper service quality. I do use these diapers, since I don't want to just throw them out, as reusable Swiffer clothes occationally. The Birdseye flat diapers though would be an economical and useful addition to any cloth diapering supply.

Not a Good Diaper Anymore

I agree with the others, about the change in this diaper. I used these with my daughter, 8 years ago (the old version), and they worked rather well. They didn't hold up as well as my 100% cotton prefolds, but I was able to use them at home, during the day, as long as I changed her every 2 hours. This "new" version, however, doesn't seem to absorb at all, and leaves my one year old soaked after half an hour. I wish Gerber would go back to the old diapers. The new ones are only good for burp cloths, not for diapers.

Not for diapering

These diapers are for burp cloths only! The polyester fill is not at all absorbent therefore they will not work for actual diapering unless you use 3-4 at a time. Spend a few extra dollars and buy real quality 100% cotton prefold diapers. They work a thousand times better!

Just Terrible!!!!!!!!

I cloth diaper my son, but I wouldn't dream of using these. These have a layer of polyfil down the center as an absorbant padding. It holds in smells even after being washed and isn't very durable either. REAL prefolds are 100% cotton, more absorbant, much softer, and much, much more durable. Forget these things and go buy some real prefolds! I've had these Gerber prefolds for a little over a year to use a burp clothes and face rags and most of them have tears and places where the stitching is coming undone. They look quite pathetic. These things just aren't good for anything!
