An excellent UV -C sanitizer that cleans more than just phones. It has the capability of cleaning anything that will fit in the 4 x 7 inch interior bin including keys, tools, knives, etc. The device will not operate with the top door open. Comes with an approximate 56 inch AC DC power cable and has no USB capability. This product has a one year limited warranty that does not include coverage for the two bulbs. Nice to have around. i
This UV-C phone cleaner is very well built. It holds my Motorola 5 cell phone with room to spare for a larger model. It states it will clean your phone or other objects in 10 minutes like keys, glasses and anything else that fits inside. Just make sure the lights are able to touch the entire object you want cleaned. It works by killing over 90% of the DNA inside bacteria and viruses. It houses 2 UV-C bulbs that never need replacing, one inside the top lid and one under a clear plate on the bottom. Just close the lid and push the button. Just wait for the 3 lights to disappear and your items are clean, Easy Peasy. This has some nice heft to it unlike other models I have tried. I use it twice daily sometimes more especially these days. Instructions are very easy to follow and I love that comes with a 1 year limited warranty. I just wish they had a model big enough for tablets.
This is a wonderful device for safely cleaning small devices. It easily handles larger cell phones such as mine and maintains cleanliness for devices often handled by multiple individuals.
The germ guardian sanitizer is so cool. It works really good at killing germs on your cell phone, keys, or anything that fits in the box. It's such a great idea, especially with corona virus going around.
So, I was a little skeptical about the Germ Guardian. We tried it out and now use it every day. In a few short minutes it sanitizes your keys, wallet, and phone. Simple to use, just plug in, place item in, close the lid and plus the button. A cool gadget to rid the phone, keys, and wallet of those everyday germs. The Germ Guardian is a handy and convenient way to clean the items. We leave it on the Kitchen counter so everyone can use it. It cleans the items with a UV light. I like that you do not need to flip the phone over to clean both sides. Feel safer with cleaning your phone, keys, wallet and more. I like that it's not too small or too large to leave out sitting on a counter, for handy use. My iPhone fits in the Germ Guardian as does my sons Samsung Phone. Makes a great gift.
I got this cleaner about two weeks ago and I have sanitized anything I can fit in it. I have used it on my cell phone, keys, even some of my smaller remotes like the one for Roku devices. It is very simple to used just plug it in open it up and place your objects inside close the door completely then hit the power button and with-in ten to fifteen minutes the objects are done and sanitized. It will not work unless the door is completely shut. It has 4 small led lights on it near the power button and when they all turn off the cycle is done. It is hard to tell if this kills all of the germs but it is better to be safe than sorry with the corona virus and all. This does not effect the objects that are sanitized at all my car keys still work and so does my remote and cell phone.
The unit itself is very sleek and unassuming. Many phone sizes will fit in it. The instructions are straightforward and it is easy to use. My issue with phone cleaner is that you don't have a way to determine how dirty/germy a phone is to begin with, and you can't tell how clean it is after using it. If it truly works, then it is a great addition to the constant battle against germs.
It's great to take on trips. It's large enough for good sized phone.and great for keys and glasses. I hope it works, it does give me the sense that it is sanitizing my stuff.
I can honestly say I am not 100% sure if this is effective because I am not able to check to see if there are still any germs on the phone, Or my car keys. However it is easy to operate, And you can see the UV lighting. I'm going to continue to use it just in case it is working and sterilizing the items. It is better to be safe than sorry with the virus out here.
As the title reads, I'm not sure how I'd know if this device works, although I have another possible use for this device. It does everything it's supposed to, but there's no way for me to know if my things are sanitized after using this.
