A gift for the sweet. Lots of stuff for the price. A great christmas gift for my wife.
Product was a value considering the price paid, but was very disappointed as it was not packaged as displayed on the site. The candy was flat in a box, not stacked with the bow as depicted on the site - so I was reluctant to give to those it was intended for.
It seems that the quality of this product is fine, but don't expect it to come packaged attractively with a bow like the one in the picture. Mine came with all the chocolates thrown in a box and shipped flat. I had to take off the plastic overwrap, rearrange it for gifting, and then rewrap with saran wrap. If it were not such a hassle, I would have taken it back.
Was totally disappointed by the packaging. Picture is very misleading.
The picture of what you see does not match what you will get. I got a red cardboard box with paper confetti in the bottom, with about 12 small pieces of chocolate (about 1"x1"), and about 4 larger pieces, about 3"x3", and two packs of hot cocoa. It may look like a deal, but its not worth it!
I purchased 5 of these to send to different family members based on the way it was presented online. I was so embarassed when our family actually received them. They were sent out in a plain carboard box with WALMART.COM stamped across the top of the box. The box contained a few assorted chocolates on top of "straw-like" filler. They looked nothing like the picture shown or the description. I made the big goof of ordering these very early so there were not any reviews. All my other gifts that I ordered online had reviews that I read before purchasing an item. I felt so bad for my family that they actually received these! I actually sent "I'm sorry" cards out.
Ghirardelli candy is great candy. The picture of the gift box leads you to believe that you get a lot of candy for the price. Not so.....the box came full of shreaded paper with some candies laying on top. The description did not state how much candy you would receive....and you get very little for the price. It was 90% box and shreaded paper. Would not recommend for the price.
I ordered this product and was hoping it would come looking something like the picture. It didn't. It came in a flat, plain, cardboard box. The presentation was not attractive at all and there was no bow, as the item description mentioned. Not only was I disappointed with the product, but also with the fact that I had to waste my time returning this item.
I ordered this product for some chocolate lovers I know for a Christmas gift. The product did not meet my expectations at all! The packaging was poor, it did not look like the picture displayed online. It looked cheap and for the price only had a few pieces of chocolate.
Although this product was on sale, I was very disappointed. I expected it to arrive in a big box with a gift BASKET inside that looked like the photo -- arranged nicely with a bow. Instead the chocolate is just laid on top of some "easter grass" in a small flat box and then shrinkwrapped. It looks like nothing. Very pathetic. If someone gave this to me as a gift, I would be disappointed.
