I used to watch this on YouTube, but due to copyright infringement the channel that had it was shut down. I was determined to watch it again, so I said to myself, "Walmart has everything. Let's see if Walmart has it for sale." Lo and behold, here it is! If you buy this for the nostalgia, it is everything you remembered now in Hi-Definition video and audio and Widescreen! The only thing missing from this nostalgia is the VHS tracking my VCR had to do every time I watched it because I had watched so many times before! If you haven't seen this before, the introduction will grab you right away! It could possibly be the most American thing ever. After the intro though, things get a bit different than a usual episode of G.I. JOE, but have no doubt that this movie has action coming out of its ears!

At long last, this movie is re-mastered and available to watch in a widescreen presentation! A "must-own" if you enjoy 80's animation -- this movie does not disappoint. Additionally, one really nice extra on the DVD includes the original screenplay which can be viewed on your computer. Of particular note in the screenplay is the ORIGINAL scripted scene of what happens to Duke. Highly recommended and at a great price through WalMart's website.

It's been 20 plus years in the waiting for this on DVD. If you're a Joe fan no explanation is need. If not this is one to have. You'll see all the original Joe's in action plus new ones from the -86-87 era.
