Shave gel is great, but just got another defective can - happens every third or fourth time. This time, the product squeezed out of the dispenser button rather than the nozzle, and kept coming out until it was all gone. I was able to scrape off three or four shaves worth. ID code 12528323A2, if anyone from Gillette quality control or vendor relations is actually listening...
My husband has used these products for years. I recently bought a bottle that advertised 20% more, but the propellant ran out before the shaving gel did. The bottle has plenty of gel in it, but it will not come out. Very disappointing.
This is my third can to try and now it's time to move on with another company. Product is good makes shaving easy. Problem I have is with the can dispenser. All three can's did the same thing, you get half way down and they stop dispensing gel. I don't know if the gel hardens are the can runs out of propellent. Also over time I noticed the can gets soft and starts to collapse like its made of cardboard.
I have used this product for several years now, but I keep expecting an improvement in the gel distribution system from the container. It foams after use and makes a terrible mess of the lid. It has been a real bother to travel with as I must place it in a sealable plastic bag so it will not leak out and onto other items. I don't complain to manufacturers often, but this product distribution has got to improve or I'll be moving to another one.
I got about five shaves out of this can before it stopped producing. The gel is still in the can, it just won't come out. You've got a serious problem, based on what I see from the most recent posts.
I have used your products for over 50 years and sadly this is probably the end. The last 2 cans I purchased were extremely poor in performance. I love your gel but when it will not come out of the can it is not worth it. One can took about 5 minutes to get enough gel for a shave. I thought okay one is not bad, so I bought another can. It takes even longer to get enough gel to shave with. So now I am using a competors product.
An Edge user for many years, I bought a travel size can of Gillette Series for a trip and liked it so much I decided to switch. Half way through my first 7 oz. can, the cheap plastic dispenser broke and there was NO way to get the rest of the gel out of the can. It doesn't matter how good the product is if Gillette can't deliver it.
It seams that there is a manufacturing problem. Too much product is left in the can with no pressure to get it out. My last can only lasted 4 shaves! To make matters worse this web site doesn't provide an option to contact the company. After many years of being a loyal customer, I'm DONE!
I have been a Gillette user for a long time (60 plus years) and must go to Edge Gel since this product will not dispence right. Read some of your other reviews and do something with this product fast.. Lou NJ
I too tried the product and would have enjoyed it had the packing not been such an utter failure. I would never buy this product again. The can was good for only 2 uses. I had to throw a full can out which is even more annoying as it's more expensive than the basic gel (with which I have never had a problem).
