[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! They are well crafted and heavy. They give a smooth cut and are some of the best scissors I've had. I wish the packaging showed them in a model's hand though. When I first opened them, I had to try them in different positions to see what felt the most comfortable, but also allowed them to work best. I feel with a picture, I wouldn't have had any confusion about how to hold them. They come with a rubber piece to keep the scissors together. That rubber piece was very hard to get off at first. I had to use another instrument to pry it off which was a little dangerous considering as soon as it come off the scissor came flying apart. It doesn't affect the product because you can simply choose not to push it down as far when you put it back on.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these trimmers because regular scissors weren't working around the house for small tasks. These trimmers may be small, but they are razor sharp and cut through anything with easy. I use the for small kitchen tasks, trimming my plants, and other chores around the house. They never fail and always make a clean, perfect cut. I don't think I'll ever need another pair of scissors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these scissors a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love them they are like part of my head like Edward scissors hands so I highly recommend everyone try them they are just the nicest scissors I've ever tried
These gingher thread nippers are the best ive ever used in 40 years. They are extremely sharp and precise. ive usually paid $50 for them so this is a great price. I went ahead and bought 5.....one for each of my machines
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Gingher 4 1/2" Knife Edge Thread Snips during my sewing and crafting endeavors. These snips are weighty, in a positive way, just an all-around well crafted product. It took me several tries to get the hang of the correct finger positioning, as it was initially easier and more comfortable for me to cut with my thumb through the whole with my index finger as a bottom guide. However, once I began to utilize these, I got the hang of placing my thumb on top for support and my index finger in the hoke. These snips are super comfortable in the hand and the blade has cut with ease through my sewing thread, polyester fabric and yarn. As an avid crafter, I absolutely love having this tool in my arsenal as it prevents hand fatigue and surpasses dull scissors. I find these snips to cut evenly and smoothly, and love how well they glide through fabric sheets. Highly recommend this product for any crafter, sewer, clothing maker, etc..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Fiskars products for years, so I was excited to try these new Gingher Spring Action Knife-Edge Thread Nippers. The blades here cut thread and yarn so easily. It really works well on fabric that might have frayed edges. I had some threads hanging from some clothing of mine and also cleaned it up using these nippers.
Gingher has razor sharp scissors and I i I cannot believe buyers for Walmart were wise enough to carry these. I have rediscovered quilt making in my retirement and with my new nippers, I am a happy camper. Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Gingher Knife Edge Thread Snipsare scissors are very well made! The points align perfectly and you can snip thread at tip as well as along length of blade. EXTREMELY SHARP, too, so be careful! The spring back action is beautifully smooth and the have a good solid weight although not heavy. Much more comfortable to hold and smoother action than plastic snips. The only con is that it would be nice if these came with a good quality protective holder and a lock to keep them closed when not in use. As mentioned in the description, the edges are very sharp, so when a person absentmindedly goes to grab them while focusing on their work, accidents can happen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this snips fits in my hand and around my finger so comfortably. I keep it handy to snip yarn while I am knitting or crocheting. When I sew it will be close by also. My only issue is the very tip doesn't snip all the way thru but I would use my full size Ginger's for cutting fabric.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are super sharp and precise for straight lines. Perfect for cutting fabric against a table or other surface. These are also great for cutting thread on a button or other small area that you can't get a lot of object into. I will say I have fairly large hands for a girl and it make them feel unstable in my hands as the one thumb hole and them being short was a challenge but for someone is petite hands these would be perfect. Overall great for any quilter to have on hand for use or just for ordinary everyday tasks just as loose threads etc.
