Every year i make my granddaughters a Christmas Eve box. I include Christmas pjs, a holiday movie or book, an ornament craft, bath bombs, etc. This year for their snack I included these little skillet desserts. They are so adorable and they are going to love them!
I purchased these as a Christmas gift for a few young girls. They arrived before the expected delivery date and appear to be a good quality product. Cast iron skillet appears to be a bit on the smaller side, maybe it will hold up long enough to get a few uses out of it for eggs or pancake minis. Hopefully the cookies come out tasty!
I look for things to do as a family on snow days or days off. I bought 4. Even though my sons are big, they do have a bit of fun making these. Also, great stocking stuffers and a cheap gift for that person you really don't want to buy for. It's a win win. Afterwards, you can use the skillet to make eggs, candle holds, camping, hang in kitchen for design or even sell. People buy these cast iron little skillets, so you'd get your money back if you have no further use for them.

I was looking for a cast iron donut pan and saw this cookie skillet. Yes its small, but cute! I added a teaspoon of vanilla and about a 1/4 cup of chips. The mix was easy to mix. I seasoned the pan and used plenty of PAM cooking spray before putting the dough into the pan. Baked in about 16 minutes. After cooling, the cookie popped right out. I only tasted a tiny piece of cookie because I made it for a friend's birthday. It was good. I'll use it again for big cookies, and will try a giant donut. Mini pancakes? Mini cakes? Lots of possibilities
Got it to go with my collection on the wall. Probably won't use it except to see how a egg turns out in it.
It was smaller than I expected. It's 5 inches diameter. The kit dough tastes ok. Nothing special. Add a pinch vanilla and it would taste great! And more mini chocolate! It only has 1 packet of pre-mix but I bet buying Pre-made cookie dough like Pilsbury would work perfect in it for future use.
The small size is okay, but this is definitely not cast iron
This is more like a pancake than a cookie. There was maybe SEVEN chocolate chips in here. It even baked more like a muffin. Incredibly disappointing. The flavor tasted a little too much like flour. Would not buy again.
