purchased this shelf in the past and it is great. Holds a good amount of weight and looks good in the garage.
After geeting all the busy work done (demo, tapping, mudding, painting) the geartrack channels and gear loft shelving were a breeze. very easy to install when the wall is completely level. When I got to a ridge in the wall it gave me quite a bit of trouble. Try to stick to the flattest parts of your wall when hanging any of the shelves. Good quality and very sturdy. I got everything off the ground which is perfect.
We mounted this shelf upside down from its intended purpose on the back of our pontoon boat and it holds our water mat (Lilly Pad). The shelf is heavy duty, mesh and powder coated so it is perfect. The young children also use it as a diving platform...sorry adults not that sturdy! We love it.
I hung two of these in my garage with the 4' gear wall panels. I use them to store my motorcycle side cases and a top case. These provide a convenient way to store the cases and prevent their paint from getting scratched. One shelf was bent upon arrival and they immediately shipped a new one, no questions asked. Overall, an easy and fun project with great results. Looks great too.

We love these shelves and they look awesome! Easy to install once the track Is up. Tip: read all instructions before installing the track for these to get the measurements right. Make sure you have the track on studs near both ends!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shelf is not only extremely easy to put up it is EXTREMELY STRONG as well. I only have one shelf right now however I will be purchasing more for my garage and basement. If you are timid because you have to install them don't be, like I said it is extremely easy. If you need storage and are wanting a shelf THIS IS IT. I have shown my neighbors and family and everyone I showed really like them and plan on going out and purchasing them as well.
Dang that's heavy duty. Deep and strong. I like the the see-through mesh as I mounted this high and can see what is up there.
Great value for the amount of space it provides. Not sturdy enough to stand on… but adequate for all my workbench needs.
This is a very nice shelf, but the packaging is terrible!! I would strongly suggest purchasing this from a store where you can inspect the box before purchasing. My package arrived with numerous indentations in the box with some of them piercing all the way through. At first I thought the shelf had escaped without any damage, but after further inspection there is a dent in the front of the shelf. Luckily I don't think it is enough to compromise the strength of the shelf, but it is noticeable. Another, more disappointing issue, is the Gladiator badge/name plate is different from all of my other Hammer Granite Gladiator products. Those all have a badge with Gladiator in orange text, while this has it in silver text and the font looks more bold. In the photos I saw online it looks like it still has the Orange badge, so maybe it was a mistake in manufacturing??? Either way, it's very disappointing to not have it match the rest of my Gladiator products. Especially since it is directly above a cabinet and next to another (older) Gearloft Shelf that have the orange badges.
