This paint covers well and although it goes on pink, dries to a flat white. It really helps with good coverage when painting ceilings. I wish it was available in finishes other than flat.
I brush paint the popcorn ceiling to avoid damage (takes forever, bur worth avoiding falling pieces). Going over the same spot more than once is not recommended and the pink application color helps so much! I am painting the last ceiling in my townhouse. - yay! I only use the high dollar paint on the walls, but this IS the best ceiling paint! Picture shows the before and after :)
The pink to white helps so much. You can tell when it's dry. You don't get any drips like with white because you can tell when the surface is fully covered
I've always used Behr paint and need so ceiling paint. wife came back with Glidden Pink to White and let me tell you. I'm absolutely hooked. the pink tint makes it so nice to see what you've painted. Also had uses it in a rental with smokers and covered very nice. needed two coats due to smoking but amazed.
Great paint! Not much more to say there. Walmart has really good prices on paint too. Of course it's not “SW” quality but what do you expect at a third the price? Besides, it's ceiling paint. And I love that it goes on pink so that you know where you've missed!
I like the pink to white so you know where you paint. Don't judge the color till the next day for the full white to look nice. Don't worry it will look great tomorrow.
Best ceiling paint ever
I bought this after struggling to see where I had painted on the ceiling in my bed and bath. We painted the hall, living, dining and kitchen last weekend. Tonight I noticed that everywhere I used the edge painting tool is a horrible yellowish green. It looks like anywhere it went on thicker looks like this. I'm going to have to paint all of the ceilings again and I really hope a different paint can cover it. Extremely frustrating.
The paint can was the same one that was in the store that I pointed out to the manager that it was leaking...I asked for a discount and she said she could do alittle so I declined. I ordered online to get a NEW can and I got the leaking can which was on it's side and spilled out in the plastic bag - thank goodness for the bag!
Painted a ceiling two days ago and everything along the perimeter of the ceiling is still pink. There are also blotchy light pink spots everywhere and a horrible texture now on a new ceiling. Would never purchase again. Will be buying another brand to cover this mess up.
