I love the rich chocolate flavor of these shakes my doctor took me off all diabetic medication, no more counting carbs for me! The protein and vitamins are a plus. The price is right! p,s, you can place the shakes in a blender with ice cubes So good!...
I take this to hold me over when I don't have time to eat anything. It last about 4 hours before I start getting hungry. I came across this when I was purchasing Glucerna for my mother so she takes the kind to add weight and I take this kind to hold me over and if I lose weight, that would be a bonus. I love, love, love the chocolate. Could drink it all day. I bought vanilla also but haven't gotten to that yet. I'm in trouble if the vanilla is as good as the chocolate.
It's a good source of nutrients for the diabetic.
Chocolate is the best. Vanilla is just ok. Fills you up and keeps you from snacking on things you shouldn't. Give it a try!!!
I've tried all kinds of nutritional drinks, from slim fast to ensure. The chocolate Glucerna tastes Amazing! It has no "cereal-ish" or otherwise unpleasant aftertastes. It is also not too thick. It works for me. I am diabetic who must have some nutrition in the morning but just don't have any appetite until lunch time. So I drink one bottle of this. It helps not to have sugar spikes, it's only 15g of carbs and is jam-packed with all kinds of vitamins and minerals. It's also considered a "good" carbohydrate. Don't hesitate to try this! The most important thing to me is taste. It reminds me of a chocolate/marshmallow pudding I ate when I was a kid, but is in drinkable form. You won't be sorry at the chexput, either, because this a *very* excellent price for Glucerna!
There are few products that are tailored to the diabetic, and this one is great! The flavors are good and they truly do surpress the hunger.
Tastes good, kept my hunger in check during long work days. Will buy again.

i bought 4 6 pack 10 ounce bottles and i was charged basically double. i order it on-line because it" hard to find the chocolate in the store. if this is the problem i am going to have i will find somewhere else to buy it it's convenient to do on-line but i'm not paying double
