Im not Diabetic, I take this for the 22g Protein / Hunger Control and the 1g sugar. 1 scoop. XCELLENT
Great taste not bad. Good with water, great with 1% or skim milk. Every morning, I add one scope, 8 oz of 1% milk or almond milk, three frozen strawberries, 3 to 4 frozen banana slices and about 1/2 tsp of Cacao Powder in a blender. Absolutely amazing. Now gauge this based on your sugar response because you will get sugar from the strawberries. I was high type 2 and now a .01 away from being pre-diabetic. This helped but just with water and the one scope. Once I got my A1c down down, I started adding the extras. ** Please follow my recipe with caution. ** But overall, I like the powder better than the shakes I have been using it for over a year and a half now. Last longer, invest in a shaker or one of those personal blenders.
The powder is a pleasant taste and has lots of health benefits. I find it gives me the energy I need to get up and get busy. ive been drinking this for over a year now.
I especially like that this is less expensive than the ready-made, bottled drinks, that I get a few more servings from this canister.
The powder doesn't dissolve great but it's my favorite brand of shakes. They really help me maintain my hunger and blood sugar enough to substitute 2 meals daily and lose 20 pounds. I was really disappointed to see the price more then double in one weeks time. Making it unaffordable for people on tight budgets like me.
I use this as one of the main ingredients for making ice cream in the Ninja Creami machine. Can't keep paying $5 for a pint of ice cream. 😕 This way I can use sugar free ingredients and not feel guilty! Recipes are on YouTube.
when mixed in water as instructed it is bad but in milk its not bad as long as the powder is in proper proportion. needs to be mixed in a blender. hand shakers aren't enough.
I need to love this but…..nope! The liquid one in the box that is supposed to be the same thing is 100% better (but more expensive) so I opted for the powder to save $$. The powder taste nothing like the premade version. I am used to drinking various protein and diabetic powder drinks but this one is the worst ever!
The powder is very chalky and not a good taste. I would recommend sticking to the already bottled liquid shakes. The bottle liquid shakes are very tasty.
I tried the mix with water and it was terrible. I tried using 2% milk and it had better texture but still tasted like scorched chocolate. I'm very disappointed after drinking the premixed shakes for 10 years.
