I have used Glucerna for quite some time but have been testing multiple meal replacement drinks. I tried these not realizing (my bad for not checking) but these do have 6g of added sugar. As a diabetic and having issues with added sugar, I try to stay away from them. However, I will say--these are extremely good! They have 15 g of protein and didn't raise my blood sugar much. They are good replacements for anyone, whether you need to control your blood sugar or not,
Doctor put me on low glycemic diet and I decided to try this product to help me with the carb cravings.. I love the flavor and also helps me feel full plus has protein I have stayed faithful and lost 30%23. I continue with this product so it makes me feel like I am not missing out on sweets.
As a senior on a budget. The only negative thing about this product is its price. I need a minimum of one meal replacement per day. This benefits me tremendously. The issue is that I can not afford the minimum 1 shake per day. Example: Hungersmart 16oz meal replacement shakes 12 count retail for $62.49. I need a 3x12 count. that's $187.47 per month. I think most Diabetics would find $187.47 a month unaffordable for a single element of their wellness care.
I am a 30-year veteran of diabetes. I became a diabetic when I was the age of 59 now. I discovered the glucerna hunger smart about a year ago. It tastes great, especially when you refrigerate it. It cuts your hunger and that helps control your glucose readings. it comes in chocolate strawberrys and vanilla.
Delicious chocolate creamy protein drink when you don't feel like a meal. Great carb balance. Does have a medicinal taste at first but I got used to it soon.
These are just super good tasting and filling as well. Of all the shakes I've had these are at the very top of the list. We will continue to purchase these!
While I like the Glucerna Hunger Smart very much, it is very difficult to open a bottle when you have arthritis in your hands. It is nearly impossible to get my finger under the plastic on the top of the cap.
I never get what I ordered because of items are not in stock or low in stock today many subscription, I'm forced to shop at neighborhood Walmart and not supermarket where I have a better chance of getting what I ordered for delivery IM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND ON MY CANCELLED ORDER
The wrong item came.
didn"t reveive order for Glucerna chocolate 6 bottles $12.84 another was Boost Max rich chocolate 4 bottles $10.54 another was sweet acidophilus milk one half gallon purity milk. was told it would be delivered Friday night between 6 and 7 pm then got a text saying delayed 2 hours but never heard from them again. I sat up until 11:00pm friday night March 1st waiting.
