My wife find this particular flavor her favorite. She has one for breakfast each day. We currently change our life style on what we eat so she could take control of her weight. It is working for her.
MUST be ICE COLD!!! Do not try even moderately cool, it tastes different. I get the plastic bottles, and freeze them solid. Take out of freezer, and microwave for 1 minute (adjust by 15 second intervals) until it is have liquid and half slush. Mix well (table knife), then shake well...
I am a type 2 diabetic and I use good diet and regular exercise to keep my glucose levels in control. I first came across the Glucerna Shakes from seeing them on television commercials. So I purchased them to satisfy my curiousity and these shakes surpassed my expectations. They taste great!!! I really love drinking the classic butter pecan and rich chocolate flavors. They remind me of Edy's slow churned ice cream. I would DEFINITELY recommend glucerna shakes to anyone who is curious of how great they are!!! I will be buying more from here on out as part of gaining a more healthy eating habit! :-)
I am glad to be able to order on line not to have to go to the store where it is usually out or they do not enough to purchase.
I have diabetes, so I like to drink these. They taste good. Especially the Butter Pecan, Strawberry, and Chocolate. I haven't tried the Vanilla yet. But I bet it's just as good.
My husband is recovering from colon cancer and is a diabetic. He drinks 2 a day as a supplement between meals. Butter pecan is his favorite flavor.
Great product ! However is is pricey I would actually buy more if the price wasn't so high
I love chocolate, but have always hated the "after taste" in most diet type drinks. This butter pecan glucerna is AWESOME! It tastes like the most expensive butter pecan ice cream you can buy, and NO after taste!~ Oh my gosh, I could live on this stuff! If you like butter pecan ice cream, you will love this! And being able to have it delivered free, I ccan buy a month at a time, and not carry heavy cans!
I'm glad I don't like it because it is too expensive and it has too much fat, in my opinion. It does have the butter pecan flavor but to me, it does not taste like butter pecan ice cream. It has an extremely sweet flavor, way too sweet for me. There is only 8 oz per bottle and at almost $10 for 6 tiny bottles, overly priced. I'm not diabetic but I do drink various healthy shakes.
Great taste and very convenient. I think for diabetics, there are too many added sugars. There should be NO added sugar.
