This item wasn't what I wanted, but it was all I could find at the time. I am so glad that I purchased it. It works well and doesn't tip over. The glue peels off easily from the pad. It came in 2 pieces and all you had to do was snap the pieces together. I will definitely purchase another one. It makes doing crafts with my hot glue gun much easier and safer.

Sorry, doesn't match to my old glue gun
I am using this, but the design is lacking. You have to be very careful how you place the glue gun in this holder. If you don't place it in just the right place, the nozzle hangs over too far to catch the glue drips. The holder comes in two pieces. Unfortunately, it doesn't snap together. Because the holder does not hold the glue gun well, I am afraid that it could fall over and come apart.
