We have 2 small dogs and wanted to be able to shut them off from various areas while not home. Between our own kids (we had wooden gate), and with the grandkids (plastic gates that never perform well), we were so glad to find a wooden gate. It was simple to attach, it expands, and no coming home to find a plastic gate lying flat in the doorway. It just does what it's supposed to do!
Bought this gate to contain my Boston terrier and it works just fine. Very sturdy gate. The directions were in very small print and at first thought installation would be difficult. Used large picture on front of package as a guide and it was easy.
I bought this gate and the 60" one to keep the demolition team (my 10-month-old and 2-year-old) out of the kitchen. It took about 20 minutes to install the first gate and about 15 to install the second. I would suggest reading the instructions through twice before starting--they are a little vague. The gates are sturdy enough to handle a toddler hanging on them. They are easy enough to open that my 7-year-old can manage it. I would definitely buy these gates again if I needed another one.
We bought this gate to replace the same gate purchased 9 years ago. We wouldn't have had any problem, except our teenage boys started racing each other with the gate closed, and the gate broke. I love the fact that they mount right to the wall and are easy and convient to move out of the way. It is also a bit if a trick to get them open, so little fingers that aren't coordinated have a hard time. Just what we were looking for.
I use it to keep my dogs out of my bedroom at night. It works really great. After modifying to fit in the hallway. I had to use additional hardware not included, other than that it works great.
I wanted a simple gate to keep 2 large dogs out of a room and this gate did the trick. It's well made and was easy to put up. I looked all over the internet and this gate was the best priced one I could find.The shipping was reasonable and I recieved it in a timely manner. I recommend this gate to anyone who wants to keep dogs out of a room.
We bought this gate to put at top of my stairs so my grandson would not fall down the stairs. Although he is supervised at all times, he has managed to fall downstairs a couple of times. Now that we have this gate, he has stood by it & SHOOK it with no problems. This product has saved us from major heart-ache! Thank you!
Well another great product from Walmart. First the gate came and was put into service. The product is of good quality and the price is what I expected. Installing the gate was a snap and it has worked out perfectly. As always walmart gives me what I want so with that in mind if you need one quit reading this a see for yourself. You just can't go wrong.
Good sturdy product for the price. A little hard to use the spring loaded latch for opening and closing but that is my only complaint. Otherwise and excellent product that stands up to my 3 kids.
Overall I was pleased with the gate so my great grandaughter wouldn't fall down the basement steps. The only thing my husband said, was he wished the middle bracket was removeable, as he didn't want to put holes in the carpet. So he had to put the gate a up higher off the floor.
