I bought one of these 3 years ago and it is still in great shape after being washed many times and stored for a few years. The only reason I bought a new one is we're having twins and we needed a second one. I love that it has 2 sizes so when they outgrow the smaller one, there is still support until they outgrow the larger insert. They are nice and soft like terry and wash extremely well. Very sturdy and basically last forever! Great for regifting for someone with a new baby, too!
I love this 2-in-1 head support because I can use both of them in so many products. The small inner liner I put in my portable swing and it fit perfectly. The larger support I put in my stroller and the color matched well. They were easy to fit and install. The fabric is soft, but durable. I would advise handwashing and air drying to prevent the polyfill from shifting. I also love the fact that it was in 2 colors, making it even more versatile. Buy this product with confidence. Fantastic value!
I bought this for my stroller to help support my daughters head but have replaced the one I have in the carseat with this one. I love it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and her head isn't all slumped over. The white one is definately used only for very newborn baby's. My daughter is 3 mths and there is no way her head would squeeze in the inside, white area.
I got this not knowing if it was really necessary. Well, it was! The hospital won't let you leave with it on the carseat, but my hospital is 45 minutes away and my poor little guy looked so uncomfortable the whole way home because his head was just slumped all over the place. Once I put this in his carseat, he stopped slumping and seemed much more comfortable, which makes he and I very happy!
This insures my babies head safely stays put for several months as opposed to the ones that come with the seat, they only support their head for two months because they get too tall to fit in it. This is a great head support take it from this Mom of 8.
I own 5 of these. My baby was born 5 weeks 2 days premature and I use them in all 3 infant car seats, swing, and a bouncer bc she is so small. I had 2 before she was born and had to go buy 3 more bc its just easier to have them in every spot than have to transfer them back and forth. The NICU where she was for 11 days recommended these when we were getting her ready for discharge. Highly recommend for preemies.
our baby's carseat fabric was a nylon blend and she would get very hot in it when she was in the car. This product is made from a very soft cotton, almost t-shirt like material, very breathable. She loves laying on this instead of the stiff nylon fabric. It's very comfortable to her. I would definitely recommend.
Our infant carseat did not come with a head support so we bought this. We have not used it yet since we are still waiting for our lil boy to get here, but my only complaint is that the newborn (white) insert exceeds the length of the croch buckle so were going to have to cut a slit for the buckle to come through. But I guess you can't expect everything to be a perfect fit.
From first day we are lit bit worry about our baby's head cushion and support. As we got instruction from nurse and friend from first day baby born that It is important make sure baby head support should be good while sleeping, playing or carrying baby. First few days we using thin towel or blanket and folding it, placing around baby's head like up down U shape. But our baby move lot while sleeping and so frequently, it is not supportive or unfold the support by moving/pressing head left or right. After getting recommendation from family friend we bough this product and its work excellent out of box from first day. Prons: -------- 1) Give long lasting sleep with excellent head support straight. 2) Give extra head support and care while your are driving with your baby and make some left right turn. 3) Does fit in your car sheet or swing 4) Good quality cloth fabric and machine washable 5) Double layer top and down, so you can use single or double as per your need and room Cons: ------- 1) Whole head support with two layer do not good in our Graco car seat. Because if you put both double layer support then few room left for baby to sit. So we are using only one layer in car sheet. 2) Price is little bit high. It should be between $6 to $8 as lots to spend on other products as well :)
Very soft material. A bit too big for an infant bucket seat, gets bunched up by the bottom buckle. Also, I ordered this one because the picture showed it being dark brown (which would match my car seat), but it is actually an ugly "tan-ish" color. Besides that, a good product.
