Purchased separate weight bench a month earlier and this item was referenced as "optional" in the manual. Contacting Golds was hit-and-miss online (no e-mail reply) and phone (first call no answer, 2nd call told Golds charges $60+ for this - ABSURD!) Used the pad a couple times since purchase and like the wide area to use for curls. Might have future durability issues but it's a great bang-for-the-buck.
said it would work with Golds Gym 6.1 but this scew handle that hols it in place is too big no biggie I just used a long screw.
In the short time of owning this, I can say it does what its meant to do, works your arms out ;o) I feel it is over priced for what it is-not much too it, I feel it should have been included with the bench(we bought also) it is alittle loose fitting in the slot but over all gets the job done.
Product not bad for price. The only bad thing is the discomfort from the chest pressing on the the pad when doing curls. U
Shipping was great! Got it in no time and everything was inside. Works great but it's alil bit to small for me I got a wide shoulder and it hangs on both edges so I cannot do curls with a ez/ stright barbell. All I can do is dumbell curls. So it's ok. Downside is I can only do single arm@a time.
